Potential Targets

ive heard storm will get ryles just waiting on confirmation
carney to sharks waiting for confirmation
inu to either sharks or dragons
rabbitohs to sign a half but no names mentioned yet could hinge on the lui situation i think maybe thompson from the cowboys just see how the puzzle plays out

Carney is supposedly going to play rugby league in France . Gallop will probably sack and deregister him from NRL . He deserves it too . Has no respect for anyone in the game . Hit the road Todd . Tell your story walking pal .

i dont think gallop can deregister him he didn't break a law, im sure there would be a court case if that was to happen.

Spud I reckon if Roosters sack him he won't have a leg to stand on with his past
The new Independant Commission will probably want to put a line in the sand
Todds trampled on it on too many occasions for mosts likings

Thats irrelevant happy…the CLUB can sack him as he breached CLUB/contract policy....he's done nothing to breach any NRL code of conduct

He's working on it, just give him a chance!

Ryles to Storm has been pretty heavily touted. Same with Carney although according to the SMH the Sharks are starting to lose patience.
The Rabbitohs have finally realised a halfback would be useful if they want to make the Top 8? The penny finally drops! I wouldn't be relying too heavily on Ray Thompson to be that player though.

Daniel Mortimer has officially signed with the Roosters for 2 years according to the Roosters themselves.

Yes I heard that on the news this afternoon as well. It will be interesting to see how he aims up in a new environment with a different coach and playing alongside Mitchell Pearce.

This is good for Mortimer, I think he will shine. He just needs an opportunity, so he can gain back a bit of confidence and the Roosters have shown some faith in him with this signing. Also, watch Ryles finally turn into a disciplined, first class prop at the Storm

Can't wait to see bellamy's reactions to all of ryles' errors and penalties

Haha! Yeah that would be fun to watch. That's why I reckon Bellamy will purge those things out of his game asap, otherwise he will blow a fuse!

You wouldn't know that he'll walk straight into 5/8 especially with Brian Smith. He could start Anasta at 5/8.
Best of luck to Mortimer anyways. Hopefully he gets an opportunity.

carney officially signs with sharks for 2 yrs

josh hoffman and josh mcguire resign with broncos until 2015.

any club would jump on these two players but could mean that others such as Gagai, Norman, Beale, Lui and Hala could become available with these two locked up long term

Yeah Bazz I like the look of David Hala from the Broncos Hard runner Strong defensively Just need to get him used to playing longer minutes and I see him as a possible gun of the future

Tim Smith released by the Sharks to join Dean Collis at Wakefield in 2012 on a one-year deal subject to visa approval.

He was the next Sterlo back in 2005, now he's being released by Cronulla where he was about the 5th choice halfback in a team with no idea how to attack. Surely he tops the list of players who never reached their potential.

Then after that you had Mortimer a few years later, who basically did the same thing!

We'll see how Morts goes at the Roosters, I think he'll be a great buy for them personally (I rate him pretty highly), if he flops there I'll consider writing him off.

I'd say ansta pearce will be the combo
When pearce is on origin duty id say mortimer will be thrown into the 7
I think it will be good for him learning from an experienced half such as anasta and an established rep player such as pearce….he really didnt have much guidance at the eels by any top tier players
