Potter re-signing tonight/tomorrow

Despite solid results this season, the playing group is not supporting Potter, believing he struggles to communicate his ideas to the team. The club has arranged for a special board meeting on Saturday to resolve the issue of Potter’s future, which has been uncertain for months.

So the players still run the club?!

Senior players did not throw their full support behind Potter — a fact that came to light in veteran coach Brian Smith’s internal review of the club conducted recently.

Through the boys club?!

Smith’s report is believed to have contained statements from players and officials critical of Potter’s communication skills.

And surprise surprise Smith causes more havoc! Why don't we just get Stuart to replace Potter!

Privately, the board want the matter resolved before the possibility of Potter embarrassing the club by making the semi-finals.

And this has to be the most ridiculous, incomprehensible sentiment I've ever heard!

Col, on what basis do you come to the conclusion that **"the people who know what the go is"** are capable of working out the internal stuff. "They" have been failing for years, like:-
1\. The Benji saga.
2\. The Sheens saga.
3\. The Tedesco saga.
4\. The Moltzen saga.
5\. The Fifita saga.
6\. The Beau Ryan saga.
7\. The Longmire saga.
8\. The Humphries saga.
9\. And the rest I cannot think of at the moment.

Great post. I don't support Potter I support the club. I'd be stoked if Potter stays but I'll support the club no matter what happens.
