2nd biggest mistake - putting young Teddy on the wing.
He hasnt ousted Moltzen yet.

A year of testing thats all we are

Yeah I think Tedesco may need some more time in reserve grade. Just playing footy as both he and Moltzen are fullbacks and Timmy has outplayed Ted at this point.

So Moltzen playing in position has outplayed Tedesco playing out of position…?

Interesting.

It's like saying Marshall has been more effective than Anasta. Not comparing apples with apples there mate.

I think Tedesco offers us things in attack from fullback that Moltzen can't.

Look I'll be the first to admit I thought Moltzen had a pretty decent game at the back, but you can't compare a fullback playing at wing with a bloke who has had the opportunity to masquerade as a fullback for two bloody years.

Potters biggest mistake Not grabbing a bloody IPad and checking the weather conditions and then picking Iosefa

What a mess , amateur hour at the Tigers

Still haven't worked out what was behind this move, did Potter want to put manly off or was Robbie not playing to Potter's game plan or did Potter want to freshen Robbie or something else??? Whatever it was, it didn't improve Wests Tigers game imo.

We were never going to beat Manly , the thing that annoys me is Blair gives away cheap penalties in crucial parts of the game never looks like breaking the line and misses a load of tackles every game I'm over him thanks coach sheens for the dud buy of the century.

As for Moltz had a solid game but offers nothing in kick returns their for he must go and make way for Teddy we need a fullback that is going to have a go.If you watch most games anytime a team enters our red zone they score most of the time , it will take potter a while before this changes we have a long way to go but the wheels are slowly turning in the right direction.

And on the Tedesco issue ,it isn't James fault that the fullback can't organize the numbers in defence

Having said that Moltzen was near our best tonight ,but thats a scary thought

What the hell was our game plan , hoping that Manly would wave the white flag after 5 repeat sets

We don't put pressure on oppositions , we just kick and hope ,the 2013 version of Penrith

I can understand kicking if we are able to capitalise but against a team with manly's defence, we don't have the penetration atm.

I'm sorry but Miller at half back is Potters biggest mistake. What does he do ?

has a good kicking game
runs at the line when he has the ball, takes the line on
knows how to use his forwards

who do you want at halfback? an 18 yo schoolboy or a 30 yo has been ?

I want a half back that can tackle. that doesn't need to have his centre come in every time and leave an overlap. Don't car how old they are. Miller is the same as he has always been a very poor defender.

I think both are quality fullbacks. I just think Moltzen is playing well and Tedesco struggled on the wing and is coming off a knee reconstruction. So I think he is better off playing fullback in the reserves for a while at fullback getting time on the field under his belt where I feel he can get back to his best and then pressure Moltzen for the fullback spot.

How is the form. Ok our prized hooker comes off, but the rest of the spine falls apart. If our entire performance relies so heavily on Robbie we have problems. Iosefa had the same options, and senior halves didnt dictate. Lets blame the hooker, seeing he stepped up and all…

The most disturbing thing about supporting, especially on this forum, is the lack of football understanding there is. It is almost amusing.

Did someone just make a sensible comment? WOW. highlight of the year for me

Yeah I don't think having Robbie on would have stopped Williams scoring twice down the wing. It was what 0-14 when he came back on and we lost 0-26?

To be honest I didn't think we were a huge amount behind Manly - just a few basic things they did better and us getting pinged for ruck penalties didn't help.

We just did not capitalise on all that possession and field position in the first half, far to much sideways running instead of going to the line in numbers. I Didn't understand the selection of Yosefa on the bench.
