Geez, Tommy Talau is a big specimen.

Sky's the limit for the lad.
Looks like an elite athlete.

Looks don't count. I hope the kid comes on but I'm worried he is going to be a flop.

What do you base that on, from what I’ve seen and read about him he seems to be a student of the game, very competitive and obviously has some pedigree from his old man.

Interested to know why you think he’ll be a flop.

He is highly rated on here without any performance that justifies that rating. When Tedesco, Moses, Brooks, Woods, Benji, Robbie etc came through they looked the goods. We haven't seen anything like that from Talau.

I hope he kills it but at the moment I think he is hyped too much. It's like we are desperate for a new star (which we are).

We all have a lot of hope for him because Benji has been quoted as saying he's the best junior he has seen since teddy.

I always thought of Teddy, Brooks and Moses running out for the blues, but had my doubts when they stopped developing their combo.

Fair enough I must admit I haven’t seen him play apart from his one game last season, I hope he is a goodun!!

All those blokes came through WT juniors so people saw them a lot more against weaker opposition.Talau has only been seen with us playing reggies for 1 year.Its really hard to make a fair comparison
