Have any definitive results come back from Mbye's knee injury?

MCL injury - same as the one he had at the beginning of last year. Will miss round 1, looking for a return in round 2 but id say he could be out for up to a month.

Wasn’t last years injury a PCL?

Either way not a great way for him to come into a new season, we saw how it affected him last year and I was hoping he’d be injury free this season to see what he can bring.

Just read that Mikaele has lost 7 kilos this pre season and is benching 150kg, squatting 185kg and deadline close to 300kg.

I know they always say ‘best pre season ever’ but this pre season has legitimately been our best. Majority of our Players weighing less and looking stronger than ever before, and we can thank Andrew Gray for that (new head of performance coach)

I wanted Doueihi there but I actually reckon Thompson will do well this week. Looked like he had more of a passing game in the trials and was better positionally. Soon as Mbye or Momirovski are fit put Doueihi back there though

if thommo and douehi both battle for the fullback spot, it can only make each of them stronger

Yep & I thought CT's support play was stronger also - made a couple of breaks running of the Leilua boys.

Madge is rewarding/picking players based on performance & I hope this continues. I have a feeling AD will get the #1 in time but I feel he'll also go well at centre for now.

Competition can only be good for us. Go Tigers!!
