I take "buy in" as meaning the players are responding well to the training, rather than actually having a say in what they do. As in "buying into it".

They have to be able to buy into it

If they lack confidence in what they are working on , it will fail on field in the heat of the action

KS, I think your right. I have misinterpreted it.
Basically the players are being supportive of the structures being put in place rather than the players telling JT our plan forward :brick:, my bad.
 
It's not hard to get a bunch of kids to respond !
I've heard it all before ,
talk is cheap.
I wait to and see how they perform on the field.
