Predictions For 2013 Were Will We Finish ??

I really think we will finish around the top 6 mark we still have a talented squad as long as we sign the right coach what do you think ??
 
I thought at the beginning of this year we were undeserving favourites. In fact I think any team outside of Melbourne is undeserving favourites because of their spine. Seriously they must pay most of their players minimum wage to afford that spine. Parramatta should come last. Every other team imo is capable of finishing anywhere from 2nd to 15th. If we get a good coach I reckon we can be right up there.

Yeah well IMO it's pretty dumb to predict where we are going to finish when 1\. who is the coach 2\. player uncertainty 3.If Sheens hangs around how it will affect them ? 4.Halfback issue . So many factors….
We were premiership favourites at the beginning of the year and end result = had our pants pulled down , so for me silly thread. But as i say Off season = boredom syndrome ...
 
Depends on what the new Coach tries to do…

I don't want someone coming in and ripping it all out and rebuliding the Club in his own image. It be great to see someone come in, put a stop to a lot of the little bitchy dramas, get them all fit and motivated, and playing the full 80 minutes in matches. Maybe a bit more focus in defence and a few new tricks in attack. We'd probs go very well. esp if a few kids are thrown in to freshen things up a bit....

However if someone comes in and just tries to Copy what other people have done, and forces the team to play too much against the grain, it could all go very bad very fast.
 
It's a ridiculous thread given the time of year and the circumstances, but ah what the heck! I'll say 4th, coming home with a wet sail :slight_smile:
 
I don't care where we finish, as long as we play for 80 minutes, the coach utilises run-on and bench selections properly, when we're putting a team to the sword we don't take the foot off the throat, man up one-on-one and use the shoulder in defence and use a sensible kicking game.
 
Too much going on behind the scenes with the Pro and Anti Sheens agendas I think for the club to be consistantly successful 12-13th

But as long as I can see a genuine direction that the club is heading I will be happy and will expect giant movements in 2014 when the young talent gets confident and the agendas at work slowly dissapate

Reckon we can the comp a mighty shake in 2014 with the youth coming through with a season behind them

Huh? Ok. Whatever. Go ahead speculate on deliverables that have so many unknowns to warrant any possible result in an outcome justifiable to look back in 12 months and think hmmm yes I got it right. Glad I said 7th. Pft.

Before we pick where we will end up probably better to take a look at the other teams and figure out who is likely to fall from or climb into the top 8?

You would think Storm/Dogs/Eagles would be safe but not sure about the rest. If Bennett does his usual thing the Knights will probably grab one spot, the Tiger Sharks will probably grab another, Cows will probably give it a shake so that leaves only 2\. Thoughts?
