LIVE GAME Preseason Challenge v Canterbury

Live Game Discussion
Our halves are average. Both Latu and tannous are not first grade. What is Benji teaching them?

You can't judge Latu on today. Galvins' selfishness was disgraceful. He completely cut him out of the game. If you think he didn't, watch again. Utterly selfish performance from him. Kid can bloody play, but his ego is out of control. He needs a coach to reign him in, not say "go play what u see and have fun". There was one time Latu stood short side 2 metres from the play the ball calling it, and Galvin ran in and stood in between him and the dummy half. It was blatant.

This is 100% correct.
It’ll be interesting to see how Luai deals with this next week.
Galvin is playing for his highlights reel.

Wouldn’t take too much from this game overall. Was basically a Flegg game for the most part.

Kit and Tavana looked the best of the young guys.

Concerning that T. Johannssen was being out muscled by Flegg kids. Faataape still has work to do on defense.

TDS and Latu were both fairly quiet.

Skelton will be an asset starting sets and bringing the ball out of our own end.

How can you blame Galvin or Fainu for our lack of points in the first half when the go forward in the middle was non existent, give them no go forward to play off.

Lot of negativity here. In a weekend where a lot of sides had 50 put on them to only be beaten by 6 points against a big dogs side when fielding mainly kids for the second half, it's not a bad result.
Dogs have one of the best junior teams in the comp too - pretty sure they've won Jersey Flegg the last couple years.

Almost all the guys who are looking to play first grade did well.
