Was waiting for Latu to pull the trigger a fair few times … but we were getting heavily outmuscled in the forwards 1st half. I think our halves play changes drastically if we were on the front footI'm still none the wiser if Latu can play or not. Why wouldn’t benji have Galvin in the first half and Latu in the second?
Latu needs to find his voice
What took so long? Can i be first. SACK BENJI. lol.
Yeah I knew that KS ......not a fan of either of themWe aren't talking about Noah
Probably the most impressive player in the trial for the WTsKit has looked good this game. He’s run harder than anyone else. Shown real good leg speed and post contact metres.
Mate we had ample opportunity to score a few tries. Absolutely ample. How can you blame Galvin or Fainu for our lack of points in the first half when the go forward in the middle was non existent, give them no go forward to play off.
Yep it was a meaningless game. Some decent defence efforts but feel like the same issue every year. Our players just look smaller and get knocked over so much easier then the opposition.Meaningless game
Our 2 first graders Galvin and Skelton only played 1st half
And last 30 mins we didn't even have our reserve spine playing
Liked a bit of Broederlow
Yes Galvin didn't use Latu much but can't see where he fits in
Not 6 or 7 or dummy half .So where ?
A big no to the Johannssen Bros and Sukkar and Lobb
I think Mason was good under the ball this game... and didn't hesitate to throw himself at the Dullbogs forwards legs and stop a try..
I don't know how every beefs up every year except the WT. Small under size team every year right across the park.Yep it was a meaningless game. Some decent defence efforts but feel like the same issue every year. Our players just look smaller and get knocked over so much easier then the opposition.
Need to drop a few from the top 30. Not up to it.
Yep should have scored a few more first half but one player dimensional and easy to defend.Mate we had ample opportunity to score a few tries. Absolutely ample.
The depth is better than the past couple of years but it’s still shallow. There is some footy players in it, but they are not ready yet and when called upon will be struggling.Whats obvious is if any first graders go down injured through the year, we're cooked.
I liked his drive, low to the ground and a bullKit has looked good this game. He’s run harder than anyone else. Shown real good leg speed and post contact metres.
Feledy shouldn't be in the top 30. If his defence is still this ordinary as well as not having a big frame, I can't seem spot for him into 2026.Tidy and solid trial.
Biggest issue I see is we looked soft around the ruck in the 1st half. Same old issue.
Players of note:
Skelton: made huge difference with runs starting the set.
Feledy: terrible defender, always grabbing. Shouldn't be near 1sts until this improves.
Galvin: kicking game, both long and short, looks much improved and he looked organised on the right where it always looked messy when he was there last year.
Kit: like the bigger frame, I think he looks very decent in both pushing through the tackle and impactful tackling, one of the few to be so.
Saukuru: bigger than some of our props and classy ball movement. Surely he's ahead of feledy come start of season??
Overall, really solid effort throughout, never got especially messy as some trials do. Enjoyed the game.
Final note: Andrew Voss has to be muted. His enthusiasm is so grating and he gets obsessed and judgy. Just call the plays and stop with the silly stuff, no one finds you funny.
Go back and watch it.
I know who he is.
Great pass at the end btw. Ruined any chance of scoring.
He's not good enough.
