Didn’t Sione Fainu have a foot complaint?
I didn’t hear if he was alright.
I must have missed it for some reason

We all see things differently, but I saw our forwards getting rag dolled, absolutely belted in the first half and if Galvin didn’t take control and prompt players to cone on to the balk, we would have looked like a rudderless mess.Galvin isn’t supposed to use Latu what are you on about?
He needs to get out of the road occasionally and let others show what they can do. For all his touches, we got 1 try.
Yep. Love Galvin's energy & enthusiasm, but needs to try a "less is more" approach. I'm not convinced he & Luai will be a great fit. Time will tell as always.Galvin isn’t supposed to use Latu what are you on about?

Would have helped if he actually stood up and demanded the ball on the last play. I get it’s a trial, result irrelevant etc. But he had a real chance to raise eyebrows and make people believe we have another option outside of Galvin. Instead, he treated it like a training run.I'm still none the wiser if Latu can play or not. Why wouldn’t benji have Galvin in the first half and Latu in the second?
Latu needs to find his voice
Roach knows his footy. He is guilty sometimes of stating the obvious like it’s important info, but yes he is pretty good. I like Smith as well.He gets a bad wrap, but I find Roach far less aggravating than the rest of the analysts. Warren smith the best caller.
I totally agree with your take on Galvin, but just on Latu. He's number 3 in line so he needed to go after the ball, make an impression There was plenty of times when Galvin played the ball but still Latu wasnt there . He didn't look proactive to me.Yes his defence was strong. Was starved of the ball unfortunately.
That’s a good point. I thought he was a hog and wanted to see latu play but if the dogs had more ball they would have smashed us first half. Defense / line speed was very poor and Galvin at least kept us on the ballWe all see things differently, but I saw our forwards getting rag dolled, absolutely belted in the first half and if Galvin didn’t take control and prompt players to cone on to the balk, we would have looked like a rudderless mess.
The fact he created a few good attacking raids off the back of little to no go forward was a miracle in itself.
Thank god we had Skelton out there ripping in as our starting forwards offered nothing.
I will add we have nothing to worry about with Laru’s ability , he’s a massive talent who will create havoc for our opponents once he has time and space to play.
Only referencing that due to a few comments made attacking Galvin in this regard earlier in the threadGalvin isn’t supposed to use Latu what are you on about?

These extra man tries are scored every week every game... It's not that simple to adjust defense quick enough when the attack switch it up... One second theres four attacking players next second fiveWingers rushing in consistenly is concerning. You'd have thought we'd have learnt that strategy doesn't work in 2013.
Good coaching should have prepared him for that.Maybe Galvins inexperience led him to feel as the experienced one out there he had to control everything.
Luai wont have it mate. The moment Galvin and his hog ways , leads to getting in jahromes way , will be the moment he gets sprayed .Good coaching should have prepared him for that.
This is my concern. Either Benji is worried about the repercussions of reigning him in a bit with contract talks looming, or he has green lit him to do whatever he wants out there.
Experience should remind Benji that when he was given free rein himself, the results were inconsistent and when he was forced to pick his moments to inject himself, we played finals footy.
Ok mate. Whatever you think. Best player since Sirro...your namesake.
A lot of new combos to engage. They looked pretty sharp.Off topic but what’s with the dragons playing close to their full strength lol? Do they realise it’s not round 1?
