Unfortunately Sheens seems to have irritated some of the key players in the media - Fox Sports and the NRL Gossip show. They are latching on to anything at the moment to criticise him. Holding Bateman off for example (which was perfectly reasonable). Don't get me wrong, serious questions have to be asked about the performance of the team, but this is much better done without clickbait headlines and the personal grievances of Kent et al.

I don't think Tim Sheens much cares.

Yep i see it exactly the same way with certain parts of the media and our Tim Sheens. The knives are definitely out for him. Not sure whats started it you can see how trashy they are by how personal it all seems to them.

After going round and round on these things over the years ive come to the conclusion that Steve Crawley from Fox is not much better than a trashy tabloid mag. He is using the tigers to generate interest, clicks and viewers. 16 other clubs but the producer there at Fox always has it on his agenda to bring the Tigers into the episode.

As others have said there isnt much we can do other than change the channel.

How do people take what sheens said or more didn’t say about hooking Nofa?

Am I hearing correctly that he was more filthy at Staines not being vocal enough at fullback?

Was it

a) hooking Nofa because he did nothing

b) hooking AD from 6 because he was woeful but preferring him on the field at 1 and Staines on the wing?

c) hooking Staines from fullback and replacing with AD but knowing that Staines is better on the wing than Nofo?

Personally I thought Staines looked way better than Laurie ever did at fullback, but from the presser sounded like AD is going to be fullback for portions of most games from now on.

I agree Bob, we’re carrying a few momentum killers in the team, but Staines is not one of them.
Interesting how Sheens’ thinking a number of changes in the same slice of time would have a few wondering about the motives.
I still think the 2 trial games presented a valuable opportunity to clear up these doubts.

It's basically Sheens saying I stuffed by by playing AD at 6 cause his horrid game showed he wasn't up for it even though he only trained one day before the game and Wakeham trained with Brooks all week. By keeping Douhi at fullback it let's him stay on the pitch in an attempt to contradict anyone who says he wasn't fit to play and shouldn't have been selected.
Basically it's Sheens saying he screwed the team selection up without saying he screwed the team selection up.

Terrible when Books failure again so far has us depending on a Bulldogs reject to get us out of trouble

Yeah nah, it runs deeper than that.

You only had to see Paul Crawley on Fox last night, personal and or agenda.

Think he is grasping to be honest to work out how AD fits in hope he finds some form.


Klemmer run was just all Klemmer
Brooks try was off a Tupou run and flick (fluke type)
Pole try was a ruck play which Brooks ran off Api (suspect Api called it as he moved one way with Brooks bolting on the inside).

For last 9mins we went dead pan away from the middle. Didn’t see much of a difference of AD impact at the back.

On tupou I don’t think that was a fluke I genuinely believe this kid can be a superstar there’s something about him that creates small opportunities
