2011 is the date and what I saw last night was pathetic in the extreme ..expecting a player to be walked of the paddock in such a distressted state .You have had packed houses all season maybe spend some of that money on a Medi Cab so our fallen boys do not have to indure more pain to be removed from the field. Maybe managment thinks this is a good look !! your the ones that want to play at these inappropriate suburban grounds well from where I stand it's pathetic.BUY A MEDI CAB ASAP.

Totally agree it looked very unprofessional but even more importantly it adds a stronger possibility of more serious problems to injuries

It was disgusting that Dwyer had to walk from the field !!!

Bloody hell no stretchers or neck braces at the ground, yet they can pay their superstars 500 thousand plus!! :crazy

They better hope that no more damage was done.

:roll

He no feeling in his legs. The injury could have been far worse and they couldn't even carry him off on a stretcher? WTF??!!

Mate, they should have got his 12 team mates to carry him off, could not have done more damage than walking off the field.

Some ….many players will NOT leave the field unless they walk off.....its an insult to be wheeled off.
That said he didnt look good, (nor did Fulton later on who was concussed only 5 days earlier too.) ...and sometimes it shouldnt be left up to the palyer...if that was case here - I dunno but there was no sign of a golf cart anywhere

I have never seen a golf cart at campbo, unless there is one hidden somewhere under the stand then its time to get one. At the very least, Dwyer could have sat up on it if he didn't want to lay down rather than walk off.

Yeah I though that as well.

If he did not want to get carried off, let hope he has not done more damage to himself trying to look tough

Didnt they say it was a damaged shoulder and pinched nerve in the neck which turned his leg to jelly?
It looked worse than it was imo…..

I posted on another thread before I saw this one, but I agree, it looked like an absolute disgrace that he was walked off that field last night. I don't care if Dwyer or other players don't want to go, being concussed is one thing, but you could see on the big screen that he was feeling for his neck and shoulder. They finally ran the bloody stretcher out just as he was wobbling over the side line! :wtf

It might have looked worse than it actually was but they didn't know that at the time. The bloke couldn't stand up without help much less walk.

Andrew Moore on 2GB just had a crack at the Tigers for the 'no medi-cab' issue last night.
Said Humpty will be on later to discuss it so we should get all the facts eventually

First time I've ever seen humpreys seem flustered in an interview. I understand he can't come out and say the club was in the wrong but he seemed pretty aimless in defending the situation

He said there was no concussion so no need for stretcher m/c

said he trusts his medicos

Brohman asked about heighno to penrith….humpty said theyd been talking to his mgr.
Brohman asked why when he's contracted for another 2 years.
Humpty started umming and ahhhing

Maybe they could trade those bloody stupid high performance chairs in for a medi cab . If I was the CEO they would have splintered bench to sit on full of rusty nails . So they would play better so next week they wouldn't want ot be sitting on it . Maybe we could of got rid of a few consistant bench riders with Tetanus etc
