Would not be surprised at all , HBG will try anything and this would be right up their ally , Shaun should have absolutely no input into these other things , he has all of Wests Tigers to fix , pathways , men’s nrl , sponsors , new players , big job already for a new unproven nrl ceo

There's a lot more cooking at HBG that we don't understand. I just hope we can cook up a top 8 finish next year.

The team could wear a daytime jersey of predominately lighter colours (orange/white), and a predominately black one for cooler night games.

Haven't read further, so apologies if someone else has said this.

It is not about "home and away" jerseys. It shouldn't be about "main and alternate" jerseys. Nor should night or day matter.

It's about accommodating for clashes. If they are playing Penrith away and the panthers are all black, they're not going to wear black jerseys; It's incumbent on the away team to wear a non clashing strip - as best as they can within reason.

Practically every other sport outside Australia has been doing this forever.

(I think) it should be:
The home team specifies the jersey they will wear. The away team is obligated to complement that strip.
If the tigers want to wear white at home, then the dragons wear all red, bulldogs all blue....

I prefer a lawn mower to a magpie. The magpie reminds me of Collingwood and Port Adelaide, and I hate them both. But a Victa Lawnmower is as Australian as it gets ... or a cask of Coolabah if there's a climate change issue over the use of a fossil fuel motor. 🐯 🐯 🐯 😂 🤣🍻
 
Shaun Mielekamp seems like a decent bloke, but if anyone is watching this page hoping for a strong statement from him on anything that is not in line with HBG thinking , you’ll be waiting a long time, Richo had the independent board making decisions and a contract which gave him the power to run his own race, Shaun has to look after his job, not risk it by appeasing forumers .
