Hmmm, Nielsen and Tonga? Doesn't quite strike the same kind of fear into opponents as Hodges and Inglis. NSW might be in with a chance after all, if the forward pack can measure up.

The loss of Hodges and Ingliss is certainly a positive for the blues however that QLD side still contains 13 former or current internationals, Including the Kangaroo spine of Slater, Lockyer, Thurston and Smith as well as the current Australian front row.

The new blokes that have come into the side will stand up….they always do!

1,6,7,9 are too good. Blues MUST completely dominate the middle to avoid less humiliation on the fringes.

NSW need to dominate the middle to get close enough for Soward to put the boot up, because that is going to be the extent of their attacking ability.

I rate Neilsen. He'll cause just as much trouble.

Yeah CB real good player . Thought though they did not give a centres spot to Boyd and we have a few wing spots options to choose from .

Tonga/Neilsen > Jennings 2011.

Cameron Smith is the classiest player imo…. Not forgetting Slater / Thurston & to a lesser extent old Legs Lockyer on the team & Cronk on the bench.
A damn near unbeatable team you'd expect.

Tonga not the best defensive centre going around . The game is now almost 50-50 I bet NSW are wishing they picked Idris now I reckon . Size does matter

I still think that our 13 will be able to dominate and overcome the Blues next Wednesday and the series  here comes 6 in a row!!!

I like the look of the side 'but Dallas Johnson must of regarded himself very unlucky . Just on the phone to the old man talking footy and he had a bit of a way out idea for the dilemna for the centres . Agreed with me on the Boyd issue and hang on Wants
3 Boyd
4 Lockyer
6 Thurston
7 Cronk
I must admit I thought the idea was pretty good Lockyer is the type of guy who could play anywhere in the backs His defence would be up to it . And we have to deal with no Lockyer next year anyway And with any luck it would of only been for game 1 anyway Definitely for Inglis anyway .Any thoughts

What Centre delemia??? Tonga is an Australian Centre and Neisen has a pretty good strike rate, somewhat better than Gasnier since his return…

Why would you move the best player in the world? C'mon Happy... Lockyer is the string which holds everything together off the ball and is vital to this team. The funny part is NSW havnt worked it out... They still think he is too old and too slow becuase they only watch the channel nine highlight reels of the action

This game will be played up the middle, just like it has for the past 5 years!!!

Well sorry Watto just reread my comment meant in defence for DL And switch the three in attack . Sorry Watto Just not a big fan of Tonga . Every time he gets picked for origin he seems to spend 60 minutes hobbling or down hurt and his defence can be suspect at best . Wish Tait was up and going He would of been there instead . Really concerned with Tonga . He is not playing his normal side either Watto . This is the only place I think we can lose .What about picking Rowdy Shearer he would of rang Geno and Des Morris to say he was ready . He still does ring . Know someone involved in Qld squad and asked him .

I'm gona start pushing the underdog line… NSW have picked a young team of youth and speed, balanced with a strong forward pack to bash Queensland... We might struggle in this one

Gotta find someway of getting us the underdog tag right .I think how the games referreed will have a huge part in the result this year's first game Usually pretty tight . When Inglis and Hodges are back we will be clear favourites

snozza daley has come out and said the blues will be definite victors in game one….

I love it!!!

Wednesday cant come quick enough. That NSW pack is going to get smashed. Now they have Tommy in there revving them up with his drunken dribble ..lol.....CATTLEDOG!

even that play backfired on them.........

Ah Cattledog, when Jamie Goddard became my hero for punching the living bejesus out of one A. Johns.
