I wish to discuss this in length,

Do you think Tuiaki will ever make a return?

Two chances. Buckleys and none. It has been previously discussed that Tuiaki did regain good pace - in a straight line. But there's no cartilage left in his ankle, it's bone on bone and whenever he started doing lateral movement, that's when the problems began and he continually pulled up sore to the point where he could not walk properly. His ankle joint can no longer handle the pressure and no amount of surgery will fix it.

Very disappointing result, the Tank was a great player to watch and would have added plenty of confidence to his team mates. I still remember him smashing souths the last time we beat them at the SCG. I hope life is being kind to him now.

here…here..

Every time I watched him run, I always thought I would rather try and tackle sauce than TNT … He was scary !

Matt Rogers is quoted saying he's the hardest man to tackle ever - Tuiaki gave Rogers nightmares for a while there….

Pretty sure Paul Gallen also rated him the hardest to tackle as he was one of half a dozen Sharks players to get bumped off by TNT in a memorable run at Campbelltown a few years ago.

I remember Mat Rogers quote clearly: "I hit him as hard as I could and just kept going backwards!"

He is very missed…
So much potential.

Tui > Vatavai?

Damn shame he won't return.

He won't be back, but if they could do an ankle transplant, I'd happily give up mine and forego cricket/football/golf/league/touch footy for life to give him another two or three years!

And to the people who say rugby league players are overpaid This is why they are paid good bucks Because unfortunately it can end at any stage

Along with Bryce Gibbs and Brett Hodgson leaving the saddest thing it the Wests Tigers history that comes to mind

I pray for a miracle but highly doubt we will see
