And I hope I'm ashamed the rest of my life

I don't know how I can live with myself , but I'm sure I'll find away

Come on guys, shame is a moral emotion - I never said you WOULD be ashamed I said you SHOULD.

I thought the refereeing was fair to both sides. Players from both sides were allowed to get away with a fair bit and the game flowed better because of it - moreso in the first half, though. I wish they would ref more like this in the normal comp and stop pinging players for every silly little nothing indiscretion and let the games flow.

I'm over the stop/start nature of today's game and players getting penalised for tackling too hard or because they put a finger near a players head, take half a second too long to get up from the tackle or something equally lame - it's a contact sport for goodness sake! If it's good enough to ignore these things and let the game flow in Origin, then it should be good enough for every NRL game.

I agree… Both teams received silly calls and then at other times no joy.

The word Consistency is what I want to see.

Happy to let both teams sort it out. But if one dominates, these muppets try to keep the close

Consistantly seeing 50/50 calls to the Marroons is what you want to see. So far, so good.

Bloody Oath… The good teams tend to always get the 50/50 calls.

At least we didn't require back-to-back 'Coaches Penalties' to get down the field for the first time. Last time we saw that was in the 90's!

The thing I love most about Origin is seeing the butthurt reactions from certain NSW fans.

QLD won the first 20, NSW the next 20, QLD won the majority of the second half. End result? Even though the score wasn't indicative, the better side won.
