I live at Robina on the Gold Coast, so me and my folk's went to the game yesterday, once we walked into the stadium to take our seat's a lovely couple were walking out and offered us theirs they only went to watch the holden cup then they were leaving. Is that a common thing, we said thank's but we already had ticket's but i was wondering do a lot of people go just to watch the holden cup game, i told the old man they must have had a relative playing, they were tigers supporters so if they do see this post i know its one in a million thanks again i did'nt know their names they were a married couple it was a lovely gesture.

Also did any one else see moltzen copping it after the warm up by the fan telling him to get lost. Moltz was giving him the thumbs up the sad thing is the fan was a tigers supporter.

Also they said there was 11,650 at the game skilled park hold's about 20 - 25000 i think, but the stadium was about only a third full. I told my old man someone was fudging the numbers there was only about 7 - 8000 people there were empty seats everywhere.

I agree, I don't think the attendance was correct either . Not a lot of people there.i even thought there were more Tiger supporters than Titans.
Certainly a very nice stadium, wish it was at CT or LO .

Could have had a family member playing, or maybe had another engagement later in the arvo but used their season tickets to watch some footy first.

As for the Tiger "fan" yelling at Moltzen in the warmup, just pathetic. I don't care how much you hate a player, or how bad you think they are playing its never acceptable to do something like that.

I feel ashamed knowing there are people like that who support this club.

Moltzen responding with a thumbs up shows a fair bit of class on his behalf IMO.

I totally agree there were a lot more tiger supporters i thought but you could'nt really tell because everyone was so scattered.

What made us all laugh where we were sitting was when they announced the winning ticket from the raffle it was number 14 thousand and something everyone in the station street stand was chuckeling one bloke was asking how can ticket 14 thousand whatever it was win if there only 11 and a half thousand people at the ground. :roll
Certainly a very nice stadium, wish it was at CT or LO .

WTF is Moltzen even doing there?

Moltzen and tuqiri were helping out during the warm up kicking balls around and stuff, the thing we noticed was they spend much more time warming up under potter than they did under sheen's but being on the gold coast it may have just been yesterday it's the only game i can get to 😢

It just seems odd considering we saved money by shuttling our NYC squad up and back in a day but forked out for that metal skulled numpty to ponce around on the GC.

Maybe Ink is right, he may form part of Marshall's hand luggage

"once we walked into the stadium to take our seat's a lovely couple were walking out and offered us theirs **they only went to watch the holden cup then they were leaving".**
Smart people!

I know we only go for the Holden Cup and regularly give our spare tickets to families lining up to pay for tickets. Mind you if its an away game we generally stay to watch the first half of FG and then leave.

It is a nice stadium though, my first time up there

My second time and I agree but the disco like music drove me to insanity.I was trying to focus on the footy but…....The worst part it continued after the ball was in play???There were more adds than a newspaper ? :rant
