Too be honest the negative way most people on here speak to those who disagree with them is very off putting to me, I have been guilty of it myself. Maybe if we all try to be a bit more understanding of others opinions and try to address each other in a better manner the mood in this place may improve a little.

In that vein, anyone who has felt I have been a little abrupt or rude when replying or disagreeing with them I will now apologise. It wasn't my intention, I have strong beliefs and I am arrogant and can be dismissive of ideas I don't agree with. I often have disagreements with @mike , @Jedi_Tiger and @pawsandclaws1 so will actually apologise to them and anyone else I have been a jerk to.

So the people that responded to you are me, @Cochise, @The_Patriot, & @jirskyr. The Patriot agreed with you which leaves Cochise, Jirskyr and me.

If I concede that Jirskyr had a *slight* go at you, Cochise and I responded with genuine non confrontational responses explaining POV and yet you dont respond with anything of any value in a thread discussing the problems with the forum but you use that to suggest we cant help ourselves. What will you contribute?

Hit the nail on the head Cochise. I would add that we dont even have to try to understand the others opinion just accept that they are entitled to have one.

It is also usually both side of an argument as this thread and a few others have shown tonight, it is not about agreeing with everything others have said, it is about not trying to belittle them for holding a differing opinion. I think that is the crux of the problem at the moment, it is trying to get one over the "opposition" I think the majority of posters have been falling into that trap lately.

I have gotten to know you through the Ambush events mate, I have started to treat you a little like I do my mates, I get hyperbolic in my disagreements. I sometimes wonder if you get the way it is intended lol.

It’s where I give a guy like Demps credit. He and I haven’t really seen eye to eye lately, but for a lot of years, he was a serial pest. Then suddenly one day comes back, realises he didn’t carry himself too well at times and owned the fact he was banned a couple times, and tones it down.

@Demps is the forum's version of Jackson Hastings. He has grown and learnt and he is going to lead the forum to greatness.
