At least you are fair in your assessment of Rankin Boonboon,I will also add to your post that he tries hard,has been shuffled around a lot especially last year,can kick goals and most of all is an honest player..I applaud an extention for another 2 seasons,he may come in handy at injury time,but most of all you never hear a bad word about Jordan and he helps lift the profile of the WTs when he goes to schools and other community work..he is a good person and a reasonable player…look at the way the big name players have conducted themselves,I would take Jordan over them anytime for his loyalty,his efforts and his character....

I think its mainly we get alot of new posters coming on here to troll us with news etc.

Also people are expecting some huge signings.

I think its a good signing, offers good utility and can kick goals

In order to kick goals you need to score tries. Hes someone who cant score trys but plays in a try scoring position. We already have barely any noted try scorers (bar teddy and nofa), he has experience but that doeant count for anything cos hes not someone who has improves through experience. He was useless on his debut and hes useless now.

I'm with you. On a minimal contract he is a good signing. At the rate we are going we are going to have a squad of 10 players. We need to sign a lot more players.

If true on 250k per year, then…. well, he's got a good manager working for him....
If it's 250k per 2 seasons, then nice. He can play all spots 1 to 7 and 9 as well, but surely we have other options ahead of him.

Yeah he was the youngest player in the modern game to get a run, however didn't get a run for another 2 and a half years after that - what does that say for Titans coaching/management at the time.....

I hope Rankin doesn't read this forum - for all intensive purposes from what I've known of him he's a nice guy, and tries hard, but he'd probably neck himself if he read what some posters here say.
 
Every signing is relative to what you pay. I want to keep Seufumungai and at 250k he is a great signing, while at 500k he is not. The fact is you need a good 5 or so guys on minimum NRL Wage. IF Rankin signs for that then im happy.

The same could be said for Naiqama, while I dont particularly think hes fantastic, if he was to stay for minimum NRL Wage, then hes not the worst signing.
