Rate This Season Overall Out Of 10

Gave it a 3
Too many blowouts
Too many inconsistencies in refereeing
Unconscious bias refereeing
Judiciary a shambles

Probably our worst year since 2015. Not a lot to get excited about. The odd game where we showed heart that sucked people in to believe that things were finally turning around. Only to come out the next week and have our pants pulled down.

That's what pisses me off the most. That dangling carrot of hope and then the same old mediocrity. For a long time now too

It happened as recently as the second last round when we compared against the Panthers. Then the next came the Dogs game….

And I'd give the season a miserable 0.
Any season we don't make the finals is a fail.
Can't wait for nxt year🙄

Yeah I don't get the inconsistency. These guys are all paid very good salaries.

Pay me 500k a year and I'd be the next immortal. These guys are the precious generation. Need to work a few hard days and see how the rest of us live.

3.

Another season ruined by COVID.

Rules and interpretations changing on a week to week basis, the top 2 flouted ruck rules all season and were able to get away with it.

Usual suspects getting the rub of the green from officials with Annesley contradicting himself justifying terrible calls.

I spent up going to magic round and the games were ruined by sin bins and send off. Plenty of bluster from V'landys justifying it as the way forward, only to offer silence when the needed crackdown ended 3 weeks later.

I gave it 4 - 1 point for each of the 4 Tigers Docos. Other than that it was a terrible season with the following key rubbish points:
**Referring** was atrocious, caused by inconsistent interpretations. The Set Restart decisions were mostly woeful.
**Player injury Fraud** - So many fake Injuries and fake "crusher" tackle appeals.
**Forward passes** When did Rugby League become Rugby Union?
**Agenda driven journalism** Yes it has ever been thus, but the conflict of interest by these talking heads is there for all to see. And Fox giving a dodgy Flanagan a seat at the table to spruik his job credentials for the WT job was as low as it goes.
**Latrell Mitchell** He should have been sent off in our match and copped 6 weeks for the 3 hits he put on Garner (2) & Noffa (1) Again media defended him and thankfully the dog act on Manu could not be ignored - I am glad Bunnies lost so hat he didn't get a ring or whatever they get as part of the squad.
**Cocaine** Geez I hope our boys are clean cos imagine what the press would do to us!

There's probably more in terms of the Media beating up our coaching crisis situation vs say The Dogs - their pathetic season was forgotten cos of their spending spree. Or The Dragons their season was forgotten cos they had 12 players busted over a COVID Party that no one seems to have gossiped about. Broncos woes under Kevvie is fine - nothing to see here. Or how bad was the Cowboys season - no dramas cos, Jason.

I don’t think I can remember a worse year then this as a tigers supporter. Played horrible all year. Messed up tommys farewell twice. Missed out on every signing we tried to get. Then to top it off , evil Ivan wins the comp. 0/10

The NRL implemented rule changes set the game backwards.
The crackdown during magic round was an embarrassment for the sport.
Origin was a fizzer.
The competition rounds were so predictable that people set records in tipping comps.
The Tigers were dreadful, possibly our worst year in the past decade.
The gap between the premier clubs and the rest was vast.
I would score the season a 3 if not for an interesting finals series and the fact the players lived away from home for so long.
I’ll give it a 4.

I gave it a 6, I might be too generous I know. Reasons why I gave it a 6 was the finals series were really entertaining. I would have broken my tv if I was a titans, eels or hardcore rabbitohs fan. The titans finals game was very exciting, and different to the usual finals where roosters won win easily. The eels finals games were also enjoyable to watch just like last year. I also loved how our fans gave Ivan the shits back when we beat them. It would have been a 7 or 8 out of 10 if Rabbitohs won the gf. It would have been nice to see Reynolds/Benji and Wayne leave with a premiership. It also would have been nice to see panthers lose b2b.

I watch fewer games than ever. The changes in the rules have mostly been for the worse, and the inequality within the competition is just getting worse. I have zero trust in the current regime running the game, with today's news about them cutting back on digital content the latest in a long line of short-sighted missteps.

Of course, on top of all that, the tigers are complete garbage. Still.
