Ray Hadley & Co slam coach SHEENS strategies

zero credibility

Talking louder than someone doesnt make you right hadley…

Though sheep like it..

The Bench isnt the reason our Attack is going through a lull. When rob lui comes back in 2 weeks we will see a little more stability.

I will agree however Robby should have stayed at 9

Explain why you think this

What about the fact that we are not mentally tough enough to grind out wins. We have double the talent St.George have but 1/2 the ticker. They are WAY better coached.

Sheens was interviewed on the BSB this morning. I only caught the end of it and was wondering if TK questioned his bench strategy at all?

Thanks.

Against a better team our bench would have been the reason we lost yesterday.

However our bench, as bad as it was, didn't lose us the game despite Brown having a nap for 80 and Waters playing as bog average as ever.

We lost because our play makers are just average and deviod of any ideas.

What I want to see happen one day on his 53rd run across the field calling forwards on countless pintless inside runs to either receive no ball or a hospital pass that someone detours and just bels him in the chops. Maybe than the lesson will sink in

Yeah Tiger Heart, Hasler does the same thing and look at Manly….they get run down nearly every week because the boys are buggered.
Where did this new style of coaching come from? It's absolutely pathetic.

He learnt.

He used them all today, and guess what?

They hang on for a win

The other difference between Manly and TIgers is the overall size of the forwards and their ability to match it up front with most teams in the comp. Our boys give a lot away in size and so if they have to muscle up early then by the backend of the game they are struggling

The assistant coaches DO NOT control the bench. It is a set routine with pre-scheduled changes and contingencies called by the Fonz as the game unfolds.

to who-ever controls the bench.
sort this mess out.
otherwise another season will slip away.
don't go blaming injuries
make the most of the talent you have available.

Mate agree and i hope we come good so you can have a drink this year  Long time for you to wate!!

No surprise Sheens dodged the press conference due to his national coaching commitments. I was surprised no journalist quizzed Simmons about Wests use of the interchange. My first question would have been _"why were only 3 men used?"_ Following with a back up question of "_And why is there a winger on the bench?"_ And to finish _"Will you select either Lui or Taumata in a fortnight's time if both players are fit to fill the obvious void left by Moltzen?"_ It seems that Sheens' status as a four time premiership winning coach who is now the Australian coach escapes accountability when Wests Tigers need it most.

Someone used the word "muppets" for those that don't agree with the current coach argument. I certainly don't agree with everything Sheens does but I am sure that he consults his senior staff and senior players about issues. So I can assume that most things have their blessing as I know that Robbie has been very vocal with missing the last few years finals. Why isn't Farah insisting that Taumata be the halfback? or play Lazarus there for a full game?

Blame Sheens all you like but the last 3 weeks have been pathetic as far as the "muppets" dropping the football. They won't win many games at all even if Moltzen et al were playing. I was disgusted with the performance yesterday and it had nothing at all to do with the bench or players out of position.

Muppets!

CQ - Its about dropping the ball when we are attacking => this leads to extra defencive work that kills us.

No wrong i dont come on here knocking every selection after a few losses like some.

I CAN READ ALL MY POST KNOWING FULL WELL IM NOT A HYPOCRIT

It's not just a few losses, it's been going on since Prince left, as soon as we lose a key player or 2 it's panic stations with some not so minor positional changes.
