I think the ref did spoil that game as a spectacle. Starving teams of possession only leads to errors and fatigue.
The Dolphins got back into the game due to a ridiculous sin bin and then the possession rate was all in their favour
No sympathy for the Bulldogs but the ref was rubbish.

Yep I’m no fan of the Dogs either, but if what the ref did to them tonight happened to us we’d be absolutely spewing.

They are hating bad on Galvin, however in my opinion, as that of many others, he's actually (hate to admit it) been one of their better players of late, the best of a real poor bunch.

Galvin's too predictable, not enough variation or any deception, is this because of the coach's instructions.

Opposition defensive video sessions on him make it easier for him to be handled, his plays are too robotic with the same moves to the same players too often.

Ciraldo needs to let him off the leash more, if that doesn't work start bulking up for a move to lock.

He was horrible tonight. Forward pass killed their momentum first half, walks away smiling. Then throws that wild pass that Isaako pounced on and really put the game in Phins favour. Missed some poor tackles and reads in defence. Nikorima went passed him untouched

How bad is Crichton this year. Staggs has rinsed him, yet Critta will be the one chosen for Origin. Qld will be cheering.

Will be a test of if Daley is serious about winning. If Critta starts at centre it shows Daley isn't man enough to make the tough decisions.

Critta could possibly be used on a wing though or the bench utility back. No winger besides To'o have put themselves in the picture

Yeah 1million dollar player to be great in defence. Look at Latrell in attack. 10x better

Ciraldo such a tool how he tries to convince the media they got dudded by the ref….the dogs are continually offside…yet the refs let them get away with it…

The Dogs discipline was shocking tonight. They deserved pretty much every decision

Is he though? He bobs up everywhere on the field but he really doesn't do much - he can't make a 1 on 1 tackle and gets pushed back until help arrives. He never breaks the line. He telegraphs his long passes. his kicking is ordinary. I'll give him that he does have a nice short pass but teams are starting to load up on the close runner. He also can put in a nice short kick close to the line. If that gets shut down he really has nothing.

Totally agree RHS!! He’s not a halfback , and too slow for 6. I heard he did some off-season training with Roger Fabri to get his speed up, hasn’t made any difference!! Repetitive plays that don’t work and terrible passing game. A little humility would help.

God hes full of crap and you could hear the incredulity and scepticism in the journos questions when hes saying they aint getting the rub from refs
It was 9-2 in their favour in the first half at one stage, penalties and six to goes combined ...they shouldve been up by 4 tries or more with all that possession yet went in at halftime 2 down

I’m getting more and more stunned by some of the rulings in this game every bloody week. When the ref told Ponga last week not to use so much force in tackles, like what the hell?? What are we playing here, rugby league or ping pong?
