Dearden failed here....he shouldve been directing them to just get thruntheir sets, kick to the corner...play % footy...yet as you say they kept going like they were behind.
Purdue pushed a.pass midfield. In heavy traffic mid set that wasnt necessary...Parra ball led to the comeback....they were ahead with a few to go...huge turning point

Purdue cops alot of praise but his push pass and over read defensively at the end cost the Cowboys.
Awesome mover & runner with the ball but he has massive gaps in his game that will get found out next year.

Just don't think you will go far in this comp without speed in your backline. With the level of fatigue that comes with the weight of possession their is not much a side can do to counteract the fast men when a team gets on top.

Well we never went the first 3 months of the comp without winning a game. Even the 99 Magpies had won a couple games by this point.
