That team sheet is a defacto resignation letter.

My first thoughts also

? Shane Flanagan & John Morris

I certainly hope so, end this nightmare now

Great, then we will get Kyle here

Back in 2019 when Tigers hosted Knights at Cambo, Madge selected a Matterson at hooker. Everyone had their doubts and we ended up flogging them 46-4.

Lock us in for a win on Friday night. Typical Tigers select a shithouse 1-17, all us fans rubbishing them all week and they’ll turn it around and win.

If somehow Wests jag a win, what will be learnt from these selections if they go ahead as listed.

True and he wasn't actually playing hooker in attack. So who knows, but I am seriously bewildered with Madge to say the least.

That said only a poor coach moves his best player.

You seem so sure of your opinions that are based on nothing.

I don't understand this team but I am not aware of all the injuries, who has been ignoring the coaches game plan and many other things that are behind the coaches decisions.

But don't let your complete ignorance stop you from telling the people that have all the information that you know better.

Found it interesting when Mbye was questioned about the Doueihi to centre move. His response was 'to get a different view of the game.'

Might be related to not giving any ball to the centre.

Thought we heard last season Brooks was dropped to the bench to watch Marshall in relation to game management?

What this shows is the coach is swapping Mybe around because he was ineffective at Centre and thinks if he plays him closer in could be more effective.

My personal opinion is that they don't want Mybe around next season on $950k so they have to play him in order for another club to show some interest as a back up utility where we still pay half his salary.

This is the only valid reason i think he continues to be picked, personally i would put him as utility back up hooker and make him make some tackles.

Do you guys think he will drop Brooks and play Madden and Mmbye with simpkin as 14 ?

I don't think so. Simpkin looked cooked last week - he needs to learn the ropes about what it takes to play NRL week in, week out. Having said that, I would have kept him on the bench to interchange Liddle.

Saw Mbye on the news, he was genuinely surprised to be named at 6 so it sounds like it was very much a surprise to him...But he sucked in the centres last week and it may be strategic to line Doueihi up against Best. The forward pack will have its hands full. We were lucky to beat the Knights last time and their forward pack dominated ours. I see the same thing happening again here unfortunately.

I don't know what to think to be honest Stefano being dropped is a bit of a shock too

I think that Madge's selections today were meant to show the players that he really means business and that nobody is above being dropped. How the players respond is open to conjecture.

By dropping rookies and guys who've been performing well and moving one of our best players to accomodate an under performing dud

The message that sends is the coach has his favourites and there's no real accountability.

The games over the last few years that Brooks has been on the bench, injured or suspended have been far, far worse. If he wasn't following the coaches game plan I am sure he would be dropped. The forums game plan and expectations are irrelevant.

Most of last weeks trys came down the Mbye's side of the field.

Playing AD in the centres doesn't stop him running.

How many of us think that Mbye will come off after the initial softening period to be replaced by Jock Madden at 6.

Madge is actively planning / blooding the players of the future now

Adam Douehi has been our best player this season

That's a fairly well accepted point of view.

Try to stick to the argument without the personal insults.

Best player in a team coming 15th with the 2nd worst defense in the comp

The move for Doueihi is only temporary imo while Madden gets comfortable in grade ... it’s not like he was going to put Brooks in the centre’s. But how do we know the coach isn’t happy with the lack of ball the backs outside Doueihi are getting?

What I know for sure is that Mbye hardly runs the ball, and in turn our outside backs will see more ball.

There has been good and bad about Doueihi's game.
If you post your opinions as fact and make up stories without knowing the facts then you should expect some personal criticism.

Pretty much every post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but opinions backed up with examples that actually happened or evidence are worth something.

>Sad sack of a person

>Always someone elses fault

>Care to explain why BJ at left centre with Doueihi parked on the right side of the field gets no clear ball. Gets no ball to get him one on one with his man

>Its a disgrace what is happening

>Its not BJ, Liddle, Mikaele, Stefano and Simpkin who have us in this position. Yet these guys are the ones he is punishing. Its not an even playing field. Almost like the coach is trying to win the senior playing group back, knowing he has lost the dressing shed and is too scared to upset them anymore. Whats next drop Daine Laurie?

>Demotes our best player out of a play making role

>Favouring the likes of Brooks and Mybe over young players you are trying to build a roster around is the clear sign we are about to look for a new coach.

>So now he has killed Douehi
