Live Game Discussion
The Challenge Cup Final was played overnight in front of a disturbingly half empty stadium.
Pretty poor game of Origin standard with the ref allowing both teams to move early resulting in no space for either team to do anything.
Of the Aussies of interest, JWH was invisible, Dufty was poor, Jesse Sue was poor, in fact nearly every player on the field was below average in a real NRL style punish of a game.
All in all, a sad day for English Rugby League.

I turned it off after about 30 minutes - absolutely boring game.

Benji and Ryles shouldn’t be included just yet and I’d argue Ciraldo has plenty of old school about him.

You can't get more "old style" than Bellamy and once again he tops the NRL in pure consistency in getting results from a team.

As for the player first coaches, you left out the best one. Andrew Webster.

I've never understood the disdain for him, mate. Every time I've watched his games, he's had a go. Always aggressive in attack & defence, digs into & through the line getting over the advantage. Much better than plenty we've given a jersey.

I’ve said it 100 times. Sometimes all some players need is a change of scenery to unlock their potential. He’s a good example. Plays big minutes, has an offload, and plays very direct. Has filled the void left by Tohu Harris.

I didn't realise it was on. Willie Peter's won hey, he'll be getting some nibbles from the NRL I'd imagine.
