Wests won 18-12. Very gutsy effort. Madden really good at controlling the game. Forwards did well and held the ball much better than Flegg.

Wasn’t involved much. Got a loose ball just before half time but was reeled in pretty quickly. Looked better in defence but no where near first grade level yet.

Was impressed with Boyling. Got crunched a few times but kept coming back. He looks a little undersized but seems to have a big heart and good work rate. Not sure how old he is, hopefully he can put on a few more kgs. Didn’t notice Walkington-Meads that much to be honest.
