LIVE GAME Rd. 17 spoilers

Live Game Discussion
What i loved with that game , you can see the dogs hit their ceiling and best they could ever play , you could tell the riff have still another level to go

Suck shit to be Galvin dogs … that charge down occurred as they had them camped down their end as they marched downfield due to Cleary making break off Galvin

As a neutral, I thought it was a great game. Lots of sting in defence, plenty of ball movement and low score kept us guessing right up until the end.
Real semi final stuff, but Penrith are certainly coming back but whilst beaten Dogs certainly not disgraced, it could have gone either way.
I doubt we’ll see that intensity at Brookvale tomorrow night but hoping for a good Tiger performance, but worried Manly will pull out a big one !

I think Kikau might get cited for his high shot on Cleary
Great game went so quick...first hour minimal errors
Thought it was a perfect scenario when galvin come on lots of fatigue everywhere but penrith cancelled any real good field position for the dogs
As per the meme above...sexton and mahoney orchestrated their only try

Dogs play some real boring footy

Most of their games are tight and they rely heavily on critta to make the match winning play

Raiders are probably the team to beat. Can’t believe we almost and probably should have beat them… Penrith starting to put everyone else on notice, I also think Roosters are humming along nicely in the background

We aren’t the only one that isn’t close to these two.
Canterbury proved in this game that they are the real deal.
I think Penrith will need to get into the top four to have a chance of winning it again this year.
Yeah I’d rate only Canberra and Melbourne as being close to those two, no one else at this stage.

Penrith are amazing! Last a month ago and playing busted, now knocking on the door of top 4 with plenty of games left to go. I’ve no doubt they’ll make, if they keep this form going. They are improving every week.

After so many of their good players leaving in previous years, I honestly thought the loss of Luai and Fisher-Harris was the straw that finally broke the camel’s back for them this year when they started so badly. However, somehow they keep churning out these young players to fill the gaps like no one is missing! McLean and Talagi look like boys, yet they are playing like seasoned veterans! And who the heck is Thomas Jenkins? Playing for St Mary’s at the beginning of the year, comes out on the wing and is faultless in that high standard game last night.

I must admit, I am jealous. I wish our club could do even half of what Penrith do in developing their juniors to step up so quickly and effortlessly. I guess it all comes down to coaching.
