They judge hip drops.on the severity of the injury sustained...which in.many cases imo are an unfortunate circumstance of a tackle from behind.
The cannonball looks like a predertimined intentional action...in pasekas case he wasnheld.upright and Munster decided to.dive at his legs from the side

It was an awkward tackle no doubt, but he wrapped his arms and actually performed a tackle, therefore not a cannonball or a hipdrop.
There wasn’t force either.
Sometimes shit happens in this game. I doubt he’ll cop a suspension.

I don’t know about you but I reckon they’ve gone soft on penalising dangerous tackles lately. Hardly anyone is being suspended now for what normally would’ve gotten a suspension earlier in the season, particularly high shots. They made their point with some heavy suspensions for Api, Nikorima, Staggs, Fainu and a few others earlier on, now it’s just all fines for the same sort of offences. Will be interesting to see if anything is done with Munster, a cannonball is rare, but I highly doubt it.
