All bets on horses are to finish in the top 3 , 4 , 5 placing , it’s fixed money on each like $ 1.90 place and normal is first 2 nd and 3 rd ( top 3 ) amount drops the further you go back in placing , say 3 rd $ 1.90 top 4 $ 1.50 etc but it gives you chances of horses paying more ( bit of a ruffy ) my last horse number 12 is paying like $ 3.90 top 5 , to win it was high $ 20 I think
