Both of these with the team we have at hand will lead to a grand final appearance.

What do I expect?
A 2nd Premiership!
My expectations never change!
We have had the cattle for a few seasons now…..only a matter of time until the stars align and we will all be partying in October!

I'd like to see the team become more clinical and put teams to bed in games.
Really learn to close out a game.
Too often even when we're well on top of a side and dominating in everything as well as on the scoreboard we still seem to get in a position where we give opposition a chance to win.

I think this is one aspect that every Wests tigers side has lacked, maybe it's due to our flamboyant style and throwing caution to the wind or maybe a lack of discipline, respect for opposition, lack of concentration, i don't know! but i'd just like to have less pulling out of hair and mini heart attacks throughout this season.
I suppose i'm saying i would like them to play smarter.

No less than top 8 would be considered a massive failure.
 
A consistently strong defensive line that opposing teams find almost impossible to break through!

As a spectator, there is nothing more annoying than watching your team being able to score at will, then losing that huge points advantage in the blink of an eye through lack of concentration and effort in defence. It happened in the majority of games last season and it happened again last night. I do hope they can get this flaw out of their game as the year progresses.

Assuming no major injuries, with the personnel we have this year and with the fitness levels they have attained, is it too much for me to expect the Tigers to be one of the top 4 defensive teams by year's end?
 
Since 05 Mr Sheens has been tinkering with this team, mainly H/B and F/B of late,Building everything around one very special player, Also bringing in marquee players the last few years, Just tweaking things here and there, This year I really beleive everything is in place, THIS IS OUR YEAR ! If we can keep our injuries to a minimum and show some consistency all season then the prize is ours. Top 4 then all the way to the big one.
 
Score more points than the opposition in as many games as possible; work for each other on and off the field; have an incident free Mad Monday…
 
I am hoping for a top 6 regular season finish. Then if we make the grand final…..win or lose I will be stoked. Have had many lean years supporting the mighty tigers, will be nice to be backing a team that has the players to win the comp though.

hoping they finish either 1st or 2nd would be good and to put teams away and not let other teams get on top of them when they think they have it won, keep a team to 0 and hopefully win the premiership ive said this every year since '05' and i think we should show other teams that we are going to be one of the top teams in the comp for the next couple of years

I think you're a finals footy bandwaggoner fan. If you support a team, you should support them all the time, win, lose or draw, not just when they're winning!!!! They will never be like Melbourne, thank god! :sign:

Mrs T you should never assume. DOn't come at me with that bandwagon crap. You don't know me. You have no idea. From 1986-199? I missed around 5 games for Wests. We had two competitive years in those. I did day trips by train everywhere with a huge 5m x 3m black & white flag that had to be assembled on every hill.

My expectation is definitely top 4\. If he could finish in the top 4 last year with the slump we had and the injuries we had then we can do it again this year, especially with the signing of Blair and the extra depth we have now.
 
If Benji is there, we will finish top 4 but may not have the consistency yet for the minor premiership.

If we get top 4, we will win the GF. This is the year.
 
Expectations:
wests-tigers to give us one hell of a ride this year.
there will be good, bad, anger, delight.
play to ability.

at worst a top 6 finish.

the team has one sole purpose of competing, and that is to win the comp.
realistically nothing else matters
 
I would like to see us be more consintent. Never out of the top 8 through the year would be great. Finish in the top 4 and make and win GF.
