Re: Sharks confirm Ayshford signing

Sharks have exactly 2 club juniors of their own lining up in first grade. Pathetic loser of a club.

They have 3 but he couldn't cut it and now is trying to become Australia's first NHL player (true story )

Lol at sharks have u seen there players there all in the 30s there team is ageing big time they will never win a comp and on sharks fourm i read some comments they should of not signed Blake Ayshford but signed Tim Simona haha they thought we will be doing the same mistake twice haha. Btw by the time they are not winning the comp we will be a force with the young talent we have.

Sharks have signed Dean Collis mark 2 and we all know how that ends.

Sharks will take over Titans and Manly as Dad's army.

Their team is ageing, but where are they on the ladder again?

They aren't winning comps now, and haven't won one in 35 yrs. That makes zero sense.

1967 they entered, and havent won one yet,46 seasons of heartache, and 47 after this year.

With Noyce now officially CEO for Cronulla you could nearly name an entire club using just ex Tigers over there.

Maybe they can get Sheens and Royce as well, hope so.

Their roster is only going to get worse each year. I'm sure their average age is probably 5 years older than us next year (~23 vs 28 you would think since they're losing Tagatese and Peachey).
Time is ticking for them - shows you can't buy a premiership with nothing else going for you.

Mind you I thought the Sharks biggest mistake of all was going to be signing Todd Carney and he's actually playing well for them. The Tigers certainly can't deal with his kicking game. I honestly didn't expect him to last a season without being arrested.

I'll remember two tries of his, both in two of the best games I've seen (and we lost both)

Taking Benji's 'no look' pass and crashing over in the corner, when he was playing wing against the Eels in 09 (after TNT and Beau were injured)

And the runaway against the Roosters in the 10 preliminary final. How he held off Carney, then reached over planted the ball and pointed. Yes. What a moment.

Best of luck Blake.

I remember that Roosters try too - cracker. But don't forget why he had to hand off Carney in the first place: because he wasn't quick enough to beat him to the line even with a head start.
