I've seen the kid in action for a while there is no doubt he can ware the number 1 full time ye his young but his ready ye he might make few mistakes but who doesn't tigers need a natural fullback and his the guy for the job

I dont think Sheens is worried about Tedesco's ability to play fullback, its more about his ability to bark out orders to the defensive line. The kids played half a season in the u20s a massive ask to be the eyes at the back of a NRL side a season latter.

I still think Sheens will go with him, has to be easier at the start of the season when most sides are rusty than half way through the year when teams are well into the grind of weekly NRL football.

You are exactly right we need a genuine fullback and thats what Teddy is! I hope he gets a chance to start the FG season at no. 1 this kid is a superstar in the making!!!

Exactly same weight as Billy Slater,& only 2 cms taller.
A monster compared to Hodgson,& certainly big enough to take the hits in NRL.
Seems like none of the other candidates are in any sort of form so Tedesco selection is a no brainer for the Sharks,& see how he goes from there for eagles following week
Sheens will pick him for the opener,but he may also pick a back up on the reserves bench like Reddy or Browne,which is fine unless he also throws in Utai as per normal on the reserves & were back to only 2 forwards on bench against a pack containing 4 internationals & a couple of revenge seeking ex tigers
The way around this dilemna is for Sheens to pick Utai as a starting winger & effectively hand 6+ points to Sharks before kick off…!
And thats exactly what he'll do :deadhorse:
