hes like a sheep dog- just like hid dad, steve.

annoys the tripe out of you and runs all day.

Yep I agree, I love the aggression and passion Paul Carter plays with. Not sure if he's available though.

Nate Myles is like a Rottweiler…....smashes on your door and craps in your hallway!
Steve Carter was a great player, wish we had a bloke with his attitude in our team. Never give up, never back down- he was a champ. Paul Carter seems to have inherited his old man's competitiveness that's for sure.

He was earlier this year, and for next to nothing as well because of the events on the gold coast, we probably missed that boat now, but you never know according to zero tackle he is off contract this year.

He was available after he got sacked, however we took the moral high ground and didnt want to sign an alcoholic. That and we already have 3 hookers on the books. Though he can a bit of lock too.

He's been playing 2nd row for the Rabbits and been near one of their best in the last few games I've watched him

Nathan Brown absolutely tearing up at the Rabbits outshining all there forwards playing better footy than George Burgess….

Agnatius Paasi is a great player starting to peak this year would enquire about him.....

Luke Bateman from the Raiders is a talent can play any position in the forwards.....

Sam Tagatese a good impact player....

Sio Siua Taukeiaho is an absolute animal would go hard for him.....

Jackson Hastings after his fathers comments and the rise of Ryan Matterson it's hard to see him remain at Roosters if either Brooks or Moses leave this is the player we should sign he's 22 and he is a proven first grader if Chookies do keep him then go for Matterson....

Will Mathews is a gun would look closely at him....

Robert Jennings apparently very close to sign with the Rabbits tho.....

Tyrone Peachy the bloke can play anywhere he's a talent....

Jack Bird another option as a replacement for either Brooks or Moses he'd be looking for an exit as he has even admitted to finding it boring at centre and wants to play in the halves....

Kane Linnet a big stronger centre don't see him leaving Cowboys but who knows.....

Ryan James a big boy and a strong leader in the forwards...

Paul Carter I like his aggressiveness would be welcomed with open arms.....

Any of these blokes seem ideal!

Well reality should tell you we will pick up a few fringe NRL players and some Qld Cup players who end up going up

Happens every year, we sign up a few Neville nobodies and the forum will talk them up into superstars only to find out that in fact they are plodders.

Got me beat how taylor is going to attract a few real quality players to join our ranks for 2017\. Most quality players want more than just money

Its time to give up on our a good portion of our junior system. Start using them as bargaining chips to take other up and coming guns from other clubs.

Yep go after the Rorters 2nd rower Sio Siua Taukeiaho, he's big enough for the front row, but essentially a back rower, got plenty of ticker and passion. Also he is also a destructive runner up the middle or out wide.

What about the young prop in our under 20's side, Taniela Paseka 200cm and 120+ kgs and still growing, let's turn him into a mongrel and he'll be a keeper / wrecking ball !!

In todays telegraph it say's rumour of the week, T-Rex to Weststigers in 2017, hope we are only gonna pay him when he has a go, although his attitude fits great with most of our team and coach.

I mentioned this last Sunday…. Might be substance to it

It looks that way, he would fit our profile though, promises so much, delivers so little.

If Des couldn't find his trigger, I can't imagine JT having any chance,

Unless he wins him over with a Vegan diet , and moon meditation every night

We have re-signed him already

Yeah Hastings has shown plenty of composure in first grade, he'd be great. Matterson also looks like a goer but I'd like to see a few more games from him.

I understand why people rate Paul Carter but I just don't. Sure he gives 100% but his hit-ups have no penetration and he misses stacks of tackles rushing out of the line. He also makes a lot of mistakes from just trying too hard. Too hit and miss for mine.

Since we'll probably just miss out on SBW, Izzy and Hayne..

My realistic wish list would be…

Brenko Lee..stuck behind Leilua n Croker
Luke Lewis..2 years will see him out...has the qualities we so lack..
Jarred Wallace..the kid is quality ..would be straight into the starting side...

He'd be great but getting someone out of Brisbane that they don't want to release seems a but impossible at the moment…

You are right, that salary cap of theirs has an elastic strap on it. :astonished:
