This is a great idea! This is how these areas get back on their feet!

When a forum member goes in make sure they have some tigers gear on so we know who's who......get some real tangible support going

Never forget religious charities are not really not for profit. They will be banking the money, taking interest..... at least for profit businesses answer to someone.

I know this for fact from experience, personal and my partner works in the sector.

Thats exactly what its all about - they collected around 115 mil and so far distributed 38 mil and said they would hold the rest for future disasters until they were name shamed by everyone. 75 mil invested until the next disaster plus the 11.5 mil admin costs works out to be a pretty tidy sum when you consider these crooks don't pay tax. Charities my butt.

Doesn't it just make you sick....Red Cross have done a number on the people, and they won't forget in a hurry..... I wonder who's decision it was at the Red Cross it was to do that??

It was their CEO in Australia - tried to justify his decision initially but then backtracked and said most of the money would be distributed. Wouldn't answer when quizzed about how other charities were witholding no admin fees. Absolute thieves. Some guy gets locked up for scamming farmers out of 40k and rightly so. This goose sammed people for 115 mil and nothing happens - absolute farce.
