Reddy or Moltzen

It feels like an age ago that i've seen Reddy play. I always used to hate him cos he did what most Eels players do and save their A game for us. I think its a good signing though, he would of been handy in the centres when Lawrence got injured this year. Im just struggling to find a place for him in the side. It seems the only vacant jumper is that with the 1 on the back. I think i'd be comfortable with Reddy at fullback. Where does everyone else see him playing? I think we'll see him as the back on the bench playing a bit of backrow. He would be handy if Ayshford or Lawrence pick up injuries.

I think the trials are going to tell us a lot this year and a lot of the positional choices depends on if Moltz is staying. He will definitely have first crack at fullback if he is and reddy will be on the bench.

But I expect Reddy & Brown to be our two choices otherwise.

need more details bruh.

what about? carbon tax? please demps - whats your contribution to the forum tonight. i worked today man - why you all over me man. i'm just telling you what i hear. its better than nothing right. peace pacino. you gotta watch crusing with pacino, to really understand pacino. he kicked butt.

Pacino a great actor AHX but if memory serves me correctly Edward Norton also was capable of kicking some Butt. If all else fails, give Beau a run at fullback.

thats funny Cunno, but when you mention Ed Norton, have you ever see him in American History X ? Thats Ed Norton - in a defining performance - maybe like pacino in cruising at the roughly the same age. Just one question Cunno, before i go, after seeing norton in American History X, which Wests Tiger player encapsulates Ed Norton for you in 2011? I mean, which player gets the Ed Norton trophy.

Yes I did watch Ed Norton in American History X he played a good acting role imo. You ask a very hard question about comparing Norton to one of our NRL players, but to answer your question I would pick Gibbs and I say that in the nicest possible way as I saw Gibbs as one of strongest and best forwards in 2011.

the only place where i can find room for Reddy is fullback too. I dont think he'll play in the forwards, we have a lot of backrowers at that dont we. Dont you think Reddy would be a great fullback. He leaps high enough from memory. I dont think the forwards is his place but with sheens anything can happen. But he'll definately be in the top 17 without a doubt.

Reddy will prove to be a great addition to our club , with him in the seventeen there will be no need for a specialist back on the bench . I would happily start him at any of the following positions :
- fullback
- Wing
- centre
- lock
- second row

I am surprised to hear people think Moltz is a walk-up at fullback. Wests are clearly trying to hold him to cover the (allegedly) departing Lui at halfback. He has a top record at the position. Miller still too young to take the reigns but will get more first grade time. Reddy/ Humble/ Brown will all be vying for the fullback role. one of those guys will get the guernsey.

Personally think Reddy will be our utility player off the bench next season I think Beau and Brown are higher up the pecking order as far as fullback is concerned

I'm looking forward to the trial games next year to see where Sheens' runs the new recruits and players like Moltzen (if he is still with WTs) and Miller.

If molten stays he will be half and weather molten stays or not Joel reddy will be fullback he is far and away a better choice then brown or beau

How can you trade for a player that is already contracted for next season..anyway we need as many players with expieriance as possible and Reddy fits that bill.

I'll keep Reddy thank you. While I don't agree with Moltzen staying, if he were to, he should only play in the halves.

Seems Reddy has the versatility to play in the forwards or backs which will come in handy. There is certainly nothing boring about the squad at the moment, we don't know how the Moltzen and Lui circumstances will pan out, will Miller be able to step up, how will the new recruits fit in and strengthen the team, there is a lot to follow at the moment. Oh and most importantly no major injuries out of the rep season please.

Did Reddy ever play in the forwards for parra? If he has then he is the best high leaping second rower i've ever seen. hodgson left a gaping hole. We still havent got that position covered, you know, a fullback with a touch of class. i think it goes, hodgson, jack, dorahy and mchahon in the earlier epochs. pardon my ignorance if i have failed to mention another notable fullback off the top of my head. didnt do my research guys. My point is i guess, that if Reddy pans out as a fullback then i think we can afford to have Moltzen in the halves.

I didn't follow Parra much but I read about his versatility being suitable for the backrow and backs that's why I'll be interested to see where Sheens plays him and our other new recruits and players like Moltzen (if stays) and Miller.
