his defense on morris today was superb.

if it was ayshord or lawrence.. we woulda gotten 50 put on us easy.

as always, reliable under the high ball and covered utai well in defense as well.
stron runner of the ball and can be banked on a good hit up to bring it out of our half

always knew he was underrated and he showed it today. brilliant game for him and clearly our best back this season

Couldn't agree more mate. I have never been a huge fan but he has been solid all year and brilliant tonight.
Tried his ass off in a well beaten team.
Deserves a permanant spot. (and i think it's centre, he's not quite quick enough for the wing)

I'd feel much better with him inside Koro than Lawrence.

Couple of loose carries marred his game but overall solid. He never looks like making a break though

Yeah good thread. This bloke was enormous in defence tonight & it showed with the majority of their tries scored down the other side. If he performs consistently like that he deserves a permanent centre position. Well done Reddy!!

Happy to cop that if he can defend solidly, cover Koro's defensive inability and his good work under the highball.

Dont think i've seen any / many handle morris so easily

The only break he needs to make is the one he sends koro off on.

Reddy tried hard all night ,had a real dig .so what was potters game plan leaving a centre on the bench for most of the game and only giving spnce 20 minutes .

He NEVER gets quality ball that's the problem.
He was one of the best of a woeful bunch.

I think he has been one of the bright lights. For the most part he is a very solid player. Strong in the air and safe in defense. He risks the offload a bit when maybe he should tuck the ball under his arm though that's my only criticism off him.

I hear what you're saying, and this doesn't have much to do with the thread, but Ayshford's defence has been very good this year. No worse than Reddy's. I'd have Reddy on Lawrence's side to sure up our shocking left side defence, and Ayshford on the right.

But yes, Reddy has been fantastic this year

Well, if Reddy has one centre spot, Simona should have the other. He showed touches of class; pace, step and solid defence in his short time on the park. I think he is the real deal as an NRL centre. If we don't give him a chance he will be snapped up for sure by someone else.

Good solid player and I think he is a better option than Ayshford but and it is a massive problem - he made some terrible mistakes out there.

His defence is great, he is solid in the air but those mistakes killed us.

I cant believe what im reading. He is not close to Ayshford. I seen how dumb he was last when the ball was going dead and he decided to touch it to give the bulldogs a repeat set

His defence was the most impressive I have ever seen from him and very well done.

But his attack was the same old, and really it shows our lack of depth in the backline when he is one of the first picked.

He is definitely a better centre than wing. Defended superbly last night and was our best on field. Always goes up to contest the high ball too which is more than can be said for our other backs.

I'd have him and Simona as our centres for the next few weeks, then push Simona to Utai's wing when Ayshford returns.

Agree, he hasn't set the world on fire but he hasn't been a liability either. He's doing his job which is all you can ask. He's one of the few that can hold his head up high imo

Agree to both comments.
Watched the game live and the replay today and he was good. Few errors but he did a lot of good work.
Thompson and Koro were getting turned inside out while Reddy with his experience handled it well.
