OK the kiwis were too big and too good for Australia tonight but wasn't it great to watch a proper referee tonight.

I hope the NRL referees were watching tonight. Finally someone who actually makes decisions and got most of them right.

I'm disappointed that my posts weren't copied 100 times. I've lost count of the number of times that I try and post from my iPhone only to be told that I need to log on before I post - I check and I am always logged on.

So tonight I just kept hitting "submit". Frustration

The one ref is the way to go ! Really enjoyed watching a game without that prick shayne hayne being involved !!!

Was thinking that throughout the game aswell Cqtiger , the problem is Australian referees have an obsession with blowing the pea out of the whistle and taking centre stage , not letting the game flow. That is the reason we have to go back to just 1 Ref on the field , IT'S A MUST

Exactly what I was thinking.. The ref tonight was 200% better than the rubbish we have in the NRL..

And how good was it having the 1 ref….

Great referree. Phil Bentham's his name. Love to see him ref here in Australia full time.

The ref last night was absolutely awesome,he did the job that in the NRL takes 2 to do,so get rid of 1..
He was right on top of things last night and didn't take any rubbish..He made a decision and that was that.

Seems to me going back to 1 ref as it used to be,isn't all that bad…

Not calling up some soft penalties either.
