I love the Wests Tigers none of that will ever change ..however it's just a game ..much more serious stuff to worry about..my son just tested positive for covid..losing a game of footy is nothing ATM..

The scrum descission is ridiculous so much so the commentators are baffled.

I am growing to hate the game and no longer watch the other non tigers games whilst in years past would watch every game every round.

Garbage from the Refs and even worse from the bunker.

Destroying the game I once loved.

I hate the way refs now can directly control the outcome of a game without being accountable because there are too many grey ares. The six again rule is open to manipulation bordering on corruption!

Bloody hell did anyone see this? Naden purposely turned backwards and faked the entire thing. Old mate put as much pressure in it then a toddler could. Naden should of been penalised not old mate getting 3 weeks. Absolutely rubbish

I know it's an old thread but was to start my own so found it.

Personally atm I only watch the games because of lockdown, for me the rule adjustments have wrecked it.
I'm not so much interested in the athletism in team sports what I want is a contest.
You know ,South's look good but can't beat the top teams ,Easts beat everyone below them and get smashed by above teams, only game I enjoyed was GC v Newcastle last week even though Matty Johns wrote it off.
You always pretty much know who will win and then even if the underdog keeps it tight for a while you get a score blowout. Only suits a certain type of player, tactics etc, so really whoever runs our club don't know how we fix this.
And even if you recruit well they change the rules again.

As someone whose been mad about the game since I was 5 years old, my interest level is as low as it has ever been. It’s the only game I know where rules are constantly tampered with.

I think it’s more to do with the division of the comp rather then the rule changes.

Yeah I agree, I don't mind rule changes. That is what this game has been built on, otherwise we would still be playing rugby union. The problem I have at the moment is the rule changes haven't improved the game and have pushed it to the point that momentum is so hard to get back once a team is in control. That is why we see so many blow outs and ideas like the 7 tackle set for finding touch will just make it worse.

Yeah I agree, I don't mind rule changes. That is what this game has been built on, otherwise we would still be playing rugby union. Agreed. I know I will watch intently when it’s an arm wrestle but as soon as one team gets on that roll it is hard to stop. 7 tackles for finding touch should never happen there needs to be some strategy in the game. There is nothing wrong with one team trying to gain control by slowing it down. I get they want to have more play time in the 80 minutes but time doesn’t equal quality.

I don’t watch many games at all, I’ve watched as many games as I can over 40 year period. Partly this is driven by the club, but mostly it’s the lack of competitiveness across the board and I don’t like the 2021 version. 2020 was just ok

There is nothing in the game anymore. No toughness, no aggression, minimal strategy.just completion rates and kicks landing just before the in goal. You know you have a problem when teams just run it up on the last and don’t even kick. Just take the tackle for field position. There are a couple of good teams, but watching score blowouts is tedious.

Really dislike the rule changes, like many have said, momentum is a killer. Even worse is a player holding his leg and then going off for a HIA. The teams are coached to cheat, well those that win anyway.

They should change 1 rule though. Team that scores should kick off

Yet I'm here on the WTF on fathers day morning.

The only decent ref retired yesterday,this will not help bring back credibility to our game.

Unbelievable they let that go.

Theyve brought in this post try bunker review which kills the excitement even more....but this round it
seems to have been abondoned.
And dont get me started on the captains challenge....I have no idea whats going on with them sometimes...shot clocks for scrums..wtf??
