I'm at the game and I just want to know we're the refs as bad as I thought they were? I can only recall two penalties being awarded to us but it seemed the ref penalised us every chance he got. If it wasn't a penalty, it was a call that went in favour of Canberra.

What were the commentators saying about the refs?

I'm waiting for Robinson to deliver a punch line, because the refs were a joke.

Can someone tell me how it looked watching on tv?

Refs were nearly as bad as us, as for the commentators i cant recall them saying anything.As cranky as the penalties make me some them were deserved and just plain stupid.
 
It looked just like you saw it mate. The last penalty I think it was, for a strip was a classic. Not the reason we lost but hard to win when those sorts of things are going against you.

That penalty for the strip - which wasnt - seems to happen in every game. If the ball comes out the refs panic and assume it was a strip and blow a penalty. How hard is it to teach these half wits to only blow a penalty if you CLEARLY see what happened?
 
Great post , lets put our heads in the sand and blame the REFS.
aT HOME YOU SHOULD HAVE THE ADVANTAGE , not this dumb side , they cant slow the play the ball down which gets them on the back foot and then all they do is back pedal .
o anther excuse the commentators .I blame the cheergirls , they definately were not in a straight line when we ran onto the field tonight …turn it up with excuses , we just played another out of form team into form .

They were pretty bad, and two tries came direct from bad penalties.

I don't think the tigers were that bad, I think they were so tired due to the awful bench….
 
We're there any penalties that should have gone our way? Or calls that should have gone our way?

I recall a break by Croker (I think) and it was passed inside and went to ground. From my seat it looked forward. Shouldn't it be called forward or knock on (as it has was projected forward and hit the deck)?

Not blaming the refs, just wanting to see what other thought of the refs performance.

Well going in with two forwards on the bench sets you behind the 8-ball straight up, then having to defend for 60% of the game… It takes it out of you.

id like to look at the game again with a calm head, but it seemed we got a rough run with the refs. not saying it is why we lost, but 2 weeks in a row we have been penalised off the park, i felt alot of 50/50's went against last week and again this week.

doesn't help when you are playing badly

I've been desensitized to bad tigers games since the 50-10 loss to Souths a couple of years ago. Watched this game with a level head.

We did get a pretty rough run by the refs. Raiders were VERY offside at times, and a couple of cheeky high shots on Marshall and Miller.
 
WE were rubbish end of story anyone making excuses for this team need to have a look at themselves four weeks of total garbage

Well put mate.

1/4 chicken n chips your right also AT HOME U SHOULD GET THE ADVANTAGE. But not tonight the raiders never got penalized for holding down yet the tigers were twice consecutively when it was clear the tigers players arms were pinned under the tackled player they cleared off the top of the player who just layed on the defenders arm making little to no effort to get up.

Not saying the refs cost us but the penalties lead to possession n momentum and make it hard for any team to win especially one lacking confidence.
