You want to be the victim so badly it's sad.
My posts have been respectful all thread
Lol you have said nothing of note and attacked on a few occasions. Don’t let your delusions corrupt you.
You’ve given no reason to vote yes other than “it’s the right thing to do”
You dismiss everything that counters your view…I asked a lot of those Ben Fordham questions the other day and your reply was essentially that stuff doesn’t matter.
When most people find themselves in a discussion with someone with intimate knowledge of the issues, who is providing real world details of the issues, they usually cease their line of argument when proven hey are off course. You double down and call them racist lol…

Yeah I'm going to shutup, don't want this thread
to get closed over some banter and back & forth

You'll find most answers here & online...
I'm about to mute you and Tucker, your like a
pack of hyenas. Vote how you want to vote lol

Mate Im not here as a hyena.....Im here for actual constructive discussion on the subject and I have had good interaction with many here with the opposite POV to me, Watersider for one that comes to mind.

What is not constructive or helpful to the discussion is when you (and others on either side of the discussion) make statements that are simply not true or without basis and then when asked to clarify why that is true or what the basis of that opinion is, you run away or just resort to name calling.

It's an important topic and speaking for myself I genuinely believe people have the correct intentions on both sides of the discussion. People have different reasons for their opinions and there may be people here who are undecided or open to changing their vote and people are going to have questions or at least issues to raise in the discussion. When people list those questions or issues and you merely state "This has already been answered" despite the fact that it hasnt (or if it has elsewhere, not in this forum), isnt contributing to the discussion, its attempting to close it down because it is counter to your opinion which doesnt add to the discussion. You'd be better off staying silent on it.

You haven't contributed a damn thing to this
thread Winston.
You pop up like a bad smell
once in a while, that's all. I'd rather vote yes for
change than be on the side of the conspiracy
theorists, racists, liars & ignoramuses 4 sure
Do you post like that cause you are afraid to go outside of the lines or do you just like the attention of posting weird?

You must not have been around when I was posting back at the beginning, might have gone over your head. I certainly cant remember you posting anything of note besides dog whistles and gas lighting about meh feels.

Don't you belong over in the music thread anyways, where you post nothing but amazing content cuz, cause I'm looking for that amazing content on this thread and it aint here.

I'd rather vote yes for
change than be on the side of the conspiracy
theorists, racists, liars & ignoramuses 4 sure

Also, thanks for being a direct reason the no vote will win bigly.

Noted with thanks, agree within you wholeheartedly.
I have to learn to stay silent sometimes and
sit on my hands when I'm not contributing to
the thread positively. It's hard sometimes given
the robust nature of the conversation but I
am accountable ultimately & will try 2 be better

I've got OCD, my paragraphs have to align smh

You must not have been around when I was posting back at the beginning

Apologies I must have missed them...

I genuinely prefer talking footy & music
This is a pretty important issue though

Also, thanks for being a direct reason the no vote will win bigly.

You're most welcome Winston, my friend

To those voting yes, what are the timelines you would be happy with to get The Voice up and running?
Follow up question, what timelines would be appropriate for the voice to do its due diligence and get back to the Executive Government so that the policise/laws could be debated and signed off in a timely manner?

Ill think about all that stuff after I vote yes. Its important to just blindly vote for it first cause reasons I cant actually articulate.

Yeah personally I don't believe elections are rigged. They don't need too.

Candidates are carefully vetted through pre-selection . Where they can be encouraged, discouraged and sponsored.

There isn't much grass roots democracy only different levels of authoritarianism.

They all think they know what's good for us.
Great Love it when they think like that. I have no idea. One day - I hope I can learn to think for myself.

Also when any one in the main stream media talks about the Voice - its 99% Yes Where is the balance?? Its one way traffic. Hook, line and sinker Lucky I can't think.

Did you know that Diabetes is the biggest killer of Aboriginal people? I didn't. They played the ad a few moments ago. In the NRL coverage. Why didn't we know that before? Why is it important all of a sudden now? Super Bowl commercials eat your heart out. Gotta love this shite!!!!! Pump it up!!! Cathy Freeman with a grandstand named after her today. What about Larry Corowa? You gotta love this media frenzy before the Vote. It will only get bigger.

This is the concern isn’t it?
Some people are clearly voting yes because their social group are and they are not stopping to think about how this could possibly work and whether it would provide any assistance to Aboriginal communities at all.

Just say it gets up by some miracle.
Is anyone expecting it to be operational before the next Federal Election? I’m sure Albo would be. I’d like to see how he will hurry them up. It is not a cultural thing to rush decisions. Timelines and deadlines don’t often work or are ignored. It will happen when it’s time for it to happen. Can’t imagine any Government sitting around patiently waiting while the committee conduct research throughout the whole country and Torres Straight….every time they are requested to make a submission.
