Refs giving 10m penalties on the line

Refs finding new ways to ruin footy matches again.
No doubt they'll play their part in the upcoming origin series too.

Agree. The refs made both the West Tigers, and Storm games unwatchable - they were a disgrace. Why didn't they blow the whistle in the Broncos game? There were plenty of infringements but the refs let it flow and it was a real spectacle - that is what fans want to see not the continual interference by the pea-men.

Need to remember that the on field refs are largely just acting on advice they are getting from the bunker this season, and you have seen some of the great decisions that they have made, even with countless replays & angles.

Whats annoying is the inconsistency from refs on it…dont just do it half the time

All or none

This is the most annoying thing about watching a game for me. Every weekend I find numerous times refs penalising a side for something and 20 minutes later it's no longer a penalty.

Half the time I think i'm going mad, especially when we are playing.

This.

I've switched off more games this year after a brief watch than ever before.

I liked the crackdown but HATE the inconsistency, and so now I feel like we should just go back to the refs being gutless, because it clearly is easier for them to be consistent with their whistles up their clackers.

All I know is, I'm not enjoying watching the game this year and it's because of the way it's being ajudicated.
Don't care who's responsible for it but it's sucking the fun out of the footy and it needs to be fixed.

Every year the NRL puts the pressure on referees to follow different rules. This year the 10 metre rule. play the ball marking and a heavy purge on players via sin binnings are the NRL flavours of the year.
