Refs Ruining The Game

Hobbo and Hap,why can't we go back to one ref,like at the World Cup,he was great,called the plays and didn't muck around to much….he was very good......the old saying,"to many cooks spoil the broth".....

Because the quality of refs is severely diminished TT and the game is so much quicker

I'm pretty anal , and want as many calls as possible right seeing we now have the technology to do so

That is the reason every Try goes to the video ref cause they haven't got the confidence to dudicate on a decision , the other ref creates further doubt and tells him to check for A,B,C.
The game is a shambles and it's a Marathon of penalties.
One ref any Day.

TT If had my way you would be able to review the whole set of six leading up to a try

But I know that isn't plausible

When I read the two rules in an earlier post, this highlighted one of my whinges. There are two problems, which drive me to drink:-
1\. The "head office game managers" continue to add new rules to the game, so that there are too many things for the referees to monitor in the game. I will bet that the Rule Book was much smaller in the "old" days.
2\. The "head office game managers" change the interpretation of rules throughout the season, which must make refereeing more confusing for those trying to administer the rules.

One ref. Rely on his opinion and that of the touch judges.

Captain has two challenges to work with over the duration of the game (loses them if two incorrect challenges) which the video ref can decide on.

From all the options I've heard I think this is the best. I'm really over the amount of time all the video referrals take and the amount of inconsistency with on-field calls.
