I would rather WT spend the spare $350,000 from Simona's de-registration on buying one or two capable first grade players, a centre/wing and second rower. Our back row is looking very dismal for a first grade side. This spare $350,000 should be spent as soon as possible this year rather than lavishing it on the big four. Aaron Woods today played terribly.

The money's already spent, we were over the cap and trying to offload Simona. His deregistration allowed us to run our full squad.

tim would still be part of the cap til he was de-registered wouldn't he… how were we able to play the rabbits under the cap?

Guys, it's week 2 of the season. Not week 22\. Week 2\. Plenty of games to be played.

Chill out.

Needless to say my Sunday was horrendous. Heavy defeat and then my wife took me to see Moonlight. That was even more unbearable than the game. Lame movie.

We got an exemption from the NRL to run Idris to replace Simona. If he'd been found not guilty it would have been awkward for everyone.

Only heard the game on the radio. We sounded like we were going alright until they snuck the first try past us. 7 straight sets and three tries will have anyone on the back foot.

Just a shame they didn't dig in after that and completely lost their bottle.

Agree that the bench is so important, especially with forward rotation, you could hear the penrith players calling out that our forwards are gassed and to go for the kill. our halves became frantic didn't play a smart game in repeat set options and our forwards suffered. I have finally decided after 3 out of 8 in the footy tipping comp to pick out my choices then register the exact opposite along with never tipping the tigers and being so happy whenever they do win.

Except things don't look like they're getting any better nor are the players…

But I do think things could've gone differently today if we had've made the most of our chance and got a few of those 50/50 calls.

We need to work on our missed tackles and our errors

Isn't that what we've been doing for the last two years. Taylor says it is, and says that we've got better. Surely he wouldn't lie…..would he??

Surely it's JTs final year…and kevs as well

Wake up it is round 2.

You were not calling for JT's head after last week.

One loss and you panic just like the team did yesterday.

You guys slay me - most people on here are like a lift - up and down at the drop of a hat.

We should have put Souths to the sword last week with the injuries they had, I wasn't impressed with the way we finished that game but let me remind you that JT was.

We had no props on the bench. Once Woods and Ava went off we quite literally tried to play a first grade NRL game with no front rowers.

The Tigers interchange management is a serious concern.

Maybe the situation with Simona has them rattled. Are some about to be thrown under the bus themselves?

Exactly.

If i was one of the players that Simona was eluding to, then i am pretty sure i would have spent most of the lead up to the game looking on the internet and thinking about what the implications might be… The anti Taylor brigade would think the coach should be able to get the team focussed, but i dont think it is that easy... If players dont have their minds on the job because of the drug allegations, they can hardly have an honest discussion with the coach about it in the short period of time between when the news broke and kick off...

Uh. Wake up it's been a decade of inept footy!!!!!
2-3 finals appearances in 15 years!!!!

2005- priemiership
2006- failed
2007- failed
2008- failed
2009- failed
2010- finals
2011- finals
2012- failed
2013- failed
2014- failed
2015- failed
2016- failed

What this displays to me is the team reflects the coach. Can't focus and gets distracted and makes mistakes under pressure. JT is a fair weather coach but can't motivate a group of men to fight through adversity. Look what Brad Arthur did with the Eels dramas.

JT deserves time this year to be fair it's round 2 but if we lose the next 3 I'd pack his bags and get Cleary in he's waiting,

JT started coaching WT in 2015, there are a few players that where here before that - but don't let that stop you.

Blame them and give them a fail for 2006 to 2015 (9 years of inept footy).

Blame the ones who deserve to be blamed for God's sake - not just use people as scapegoats.

Me wake up - get serious Ace.

Yeah hope you didn't have the same experience , every time I came and checked the score Penrith would score

Started to get a bit paranoid in the end
