Every single club is doing the exact same releasing players and signing others. It's time for musical chairs!

Every other club is replacing the players they release with players of equal or better class. Our Head Coach has publicly stated that the club will not be signing anybody else for 2015\. Our club is in a terrible financial mess. The signing of Lawrence to an expensive long term contract followed by Tedesco's ransom were the straws that broke us. I hope Naquima, our biggest signing for 2015, is a decent player.

I don't think this is such a bad move…. He is the second highest paid player at the club and he has never reached the dizzy heights the club banked on.... Releasing him can help bank roll Taylor's strategies....
Is it possible to pay some of the players their 2016 salaries next year and free up allot of money for a heavy recruitment for season 2016???

yeah i dont get it, JT says we need a centre and we are weak in the back row, then he lets Bodene and Blair walk out the door. he is either a complete fool or a great poker player.

He's gotta have something up his sleeve, surely. Unless all these releases are due to front loading the contracts of the jnr's, in which case whoever is responsible for that should start typing his resume.

So from most of the comments above we need him for his experience? Didn't help us much last season. He has been a passenger for three years. He is not a leader in our club despite his "experience".

If we want experience we could find an equally experienced player for better value.

Blair is like the guy at the office thats been there for years, shows up everyday, is friendly with everyone, works long hours but when he goes people say "what did he really do around here"?

Have patience,,,blairs not a leader .his form has never reached any great heights life goes on .have some faith in our strength and conditioning coach .before our injury toll hit we were up near the top sides . We have a decent roster if we can keep them fit .im confident we will make 1 or 2 top signings in the next couple of weeks

i just cant believe this, i agree with all the above posts!! this is suicide taylor is playing with letting everyone go!!! he is not bringing anyone in and losing everyone in the back row, how do we have no money to sign anyone?? we have let benji go, that was a massive saving, i know we signed up some juniors but how the hell do the broncos have so much money in the coffers to sign blair, he would have not been cheap,they are so paying for Barber and Kennedy and signing of Boyd amongst heap others, i am totally perplexed ..hope taylor knows what he is doing..I hear this every year we are planning for the future but its starting to grow very tiring, sorry everybody for the rant just had to get this off my chest!!

Well from that side that started so well we will now be missing our entire back row (Fults, Blair and BT), our 5/8 (Anasta) our bench prop (Gavet), our backup 5/8 and both our backup 2nd rowers (BMM and Pato). Our S&C guy better be a bloody miracle worker because we can barely scrape together an NRL quality back row never mind when we get any injuries. I can't see us improving on this year with the squad we have.

Hope I'm wrong.

I'm not going to bet lefty on it. Some substantial room has been made in the cap though it would seem. Logic would dictate we will sign someone.
