Daniella in for chris & brown for leichhardt lote, leave moltzen on the bench & use him as needed. Whatever sheens does i am happy with.

I was very excited when the Tigers signed him on, as he could never crack a starting spot between Elford/Tighe and Jennings. He is extremely strong for his size and pound for pound a big hitter and as we all know, has plenty of speed to burn. Hoping he picks up from where he left off last year, has a big opportunity to take Lawrence's place for the next 8 or so weeks but Brown will be fighting for a spot also, with Ryan most likely returning on the left wing when he finally gets back on the paddock.

Good call on Woods Brother… I knew he had the goods but thought he would take a while to find his feet in 1sts'.

And played remarkably BIG minutes!!

Lawrence is out long term, it is not the time for a stop gap solution like Moltzen. Replace a centre with a centre. You know it makes sense

I have been very impressed with Woods - I am amazed at how big he is! Would love him and Fifita to sign on long term!!
Off topic a little, I don't really rate Al Shirnack but thought he had a great game against the raiders. He looks a little trimmer and more mobile. Does Sheens rate him above Jason? I noticed Jason didn't get on until late but Al seemed to get plenty of minutes.

I hope they keep the State Cup combination of Daniella and Brown left side. The have been developing a good understanding of each other for BRET and are fresh off a Bye
Daniela centre and Brown to wing. Both have been playing next to one another in state cup so should have an understanding. Moltzen to start from bench. Moltzen would struggle in defence especially against the Chookies bifg centres.
Woods is special and agree sign him up long term. He is only 19 years old so he could become anything.
Dwyer needs to stand up and perform otherwise he could find himself in State Cup once Ellis, Gibbs, Fulton and BMM return.
Does anyone know if Gibbs is back this week?

But in all seriousness, the second I knew Lortay and Rowdy were out, I baulked at the idea then straight away thought - "meh, we have daniella and Brown to slot in. I was at the Cambo game, sitting just next to the players family and officals section of the crowd, and saw mitch brown and daniella up close.
Brown is quite big (my father commented at the game that he's quite a bit bigger than chris heighington) and I remember him having some great pace, where daniella when i saw him looked quite small, but the SIZE OF HIS BICEPS, jesus, the man could arm wrestle a Grizzly bear and win.
Im copping it at work regarding lot and lawrence out BIG time, (doggies and dragons supporter here) however am pretty unconcerned with our potential replacements…
I'd keep Moltz on the bench and bring in Daniela & Brown also, I thought both those guys were great for us at various times last season, Daniela has the nack for finding the try line (I think he scored in just about every game he played last year?) and Brown never seemed to make a bad play and puts in 110% effort.
Considering the mass injuries we have right now, our team still doesn't look half bad lol, yay for finally having some depth :smiley:

Noticed that Brown and Meaney where training with the first grade squad on saturday night at the game, there was no sign of daniela, though i do hope they pick daniela and brown anyhow.
My view is a full time replacement for Lawrence is required if Chris can get back on the park good but reality is 12 to 16 weeks our season is gone so no stop gap will be required. Maybe look at Tagive certainly has the size and speed inexpieriance could be a problem ,Brown for wing but up to 4 players could cover that area..Daniela for mind is a capable stop gap ..Moltzen is not ready has his spot at the moment .Well the next couple of weeks will be interesting but I do believe we have the depth to make the finals but thats in the hands of the injury gods..
