Ctrl & +, Ctrl & - both work in firefox and IE….I can enlarge the screen so the right side menu is at the bottom, the stuff on the right annoyed me at first too......but the too large text I found worse, try and persist with it you get used to it

with chrome i had no change,still doing the same.
new post thing on the right takes up a 1/4 of my screen.wish i could just close that option as well.

What version are you running of Chrome Bon? I have no dramas with version 24\. When I zoom in, everything zooms proportionally.

i was using 25 so tried Version 24.0.1312.60 m still no change.
is there a different version 24?

I can't help but think that diversity of opinion and idea will be somewhat watered down. The biggest impact will be threads such as the Politics Thread where people are fiercely passionate about their beliefs, and it brings out the best (and sometimes the worst) of discussion. It would be a shame to see people second guessing potential quality posts, and censoring themselves in a thread like that.

Just my two cents.

You'd hope not UD. I disagree pretty strongly with a lot of the stuff posted in the politics thread but I'd never neg rep someone for posting something I disagreed with unless it was racists or something like that.

The other thing that was a problem area last time was Balmain/Wests things. Even the slightest suggestion that a person's passion was a bit OTT would prompt a deluge of neg rep. On both sides but there was one well-known culprit in this regard.

Tbh I didn't notice too much change in postings last time the rep points were in. If someone really cares enough about it to stop engaging in debate well more fool them I guess…

Gee, the people who run this forum go to the effort to add in an extra nice feature for us and they get shot down. If you don't like it just ignore, it's really not a difficult concept to understand. How about you appreciate what other people are doing for you.

G'day Guys Could someone possibly set out a step by step solution to being able to give rep points

I'm sorry to ask but have no idea what a browser is ,where to find it , and what version I've got

Happy, just click on the thumbs up or thumbs down symbols on the right hand side of the post you want to rate and a ratings box should pop up. Inside that box there will be a drop down box that has a +1 symbol in it. If you click on arrow at the side of the drop down box you will be able to change the rep rating anywhere from 1 to 5, whichever number you want. Then just go down to the bottom of the the pop up box and click the 'rate' button. Hopefully that will do it, although I had to have 2 attempts when I rated someone the other day. I haven't made any ratings since then, so I don't know if it is working first go yet or not. People are getting ratings so it must be. If it doesn't work for you the first time, just persist and do it again.

By the way, congrats on getting an avatar up!

I push the thumbs up button and I have a little box save post When I then push save post I get a broken line border around the thumb and then nothing else happens and when i click on the button nothing happens (whether i left or right click )

Now I can't even get that I hate computers

😕 :question: Ah sorry you've lost me, mate - I don't get a 'save post' box at all when I click on the thumb symbol! Your problem sounds like one for the experts, not this 'Jim-Bob' :laughing: Appears to be a few gremlins around, as I've had some strange things come up when navigating the site as well lately, but so far ok with giving rep points. Hopefully Kul or someone can help you out soon.

Working now Decided to try again and this time tried neg rep (Sorry Flip almost gave you Neg 5 ) and this seemed to activate it

Don't know which post you actually repped me for though, when I clicked on your PM to check the page wouldn't load and I ended up with a page that says '**The path to the requested does not exist. No output buffer was generated by this JFusion plugin'.** In fact, I seem to be getting this coming up a lot whilst navigating - anyone know what might be the problem here?

No had to work out whether I was doing it right or not Had tried to work it out on other people (you included as you had helped with the Avatar ) as well just in case It was just luck that it worked with Flip

I'm far from bland and vanilla , at times I can be off white ,cream and even a light beige :laughing:

Hey Kul/other admins & mods,

Ive received several messages in my inbox saying I have new reputation points. When I go to the messages and click the link to take me to the post, the first time it came up with an error message, and now it's coming up with a blank screen. I don't remember what the error message said as the page now comes up blank when I click the link. Any idea where the issue is stemming from?
