Everybody talking the Eels up ... take the huge fan base out of Bankwest stadium the home field advantage certainly diminishes ..playing in a cavernous stadium Without those DH Eels supporters certainly levels things up IMO!

The whole competition is wide open. I think the quality of football is going to be affected due to a few factors. Origin in particular is going to be a complete throwaway.

Too many downhill skiers at Parra. No crowds to boost their fragile egos will undoubtedly diminish their performances

Probably easiest is nrl.com, online.

Politis isn't happy about the new draw. Which makes me like the new draw more. From Fox Sports..

“It’s not a draw – it’s a TV schedule,” Politis said.

“A draw is when you’ve got fairness. I’ve told (Roosters CEO) Joe Kelly we’re banned from using the word draw.

“I’ve been bringing this up at the chairmans’ meeting for the last couple of years now.

“What’s next? We’ve had the rule changes, the referees, next thing they’ll tell us we can only take the field with 12 players.”

Seems when Politis was on all the Committee's ..everything was sweet...for the time being Committee's are out the window..

Firm decisions are being made..people may not like them..refs, rule changes, draw, broadcasts etc at least it's concrete..I thank V'Landy's for that...bout bloody time

Suck it up Unca Nick..

Yep, just about everything to do with the NRL needed a big kick up the arse. I'm enjoying this.

Campbelltown stadium may be one of Wests tigers home grounds but the team doesn't train there.

We never train there and only play there 3 times a year. Not really a home ground at all ?

They were saying on ABC Grandstand @JoshColeman99 that when Wests Tigers are the away team but playing at Campbelltown, We will most likely have to use the visitors dressing room.
I don't know what the difference is between both dressing rooms though.
I guess this will apply to all teams, not just Us.

lol, it's good we aren't an unscrupulous team, and wouldn't even conceive of planting some sort of listening device in the opponents' dressing rooms.

I can picture it now... Eels are in there and some voice comes out saying 'Big brother is Watching you'...

Yeah that makes sense. Hopefully the ‘home’ teams walk into a change room full of tigers stuff so they don’t feel at home ?

Adam Doueihi talked about how they’ve been working on mainly defence at training. Says they know they’ll score points but they need to defend better. It’s obvious I know but at least Madge knows what needs to be improved, can’t say the same about our previous coaches 😂

Good to hear. Our attack isn't brilliant, but defence definitely the priority.

Article about him on SMH website. Saying had to get needle in his ankle at least once a week to get through the season with Souths. Started getting them at R13 and didn't train much also had to get re-needled drying half time some weeks.

24 points both games, that should be enough to win if we score that much every week. Doueihi seemed confident their defence had improved, I think Madge made some changes about how they’re training it. Guess we’ll see next Saturday

Pretty crazy considering he was one of their better players in the finals series while having to do that. Hopefully he can become a threat with his running game for us
