Congratulations to those that made this event possible. Never thought I would ever see the day when the Magpies ran out onto Lidcombe Oval again. I hope the weather fines up so there is a good crowd on hand and the team performs well …. I'm sure they will.

Things have changed a lot at Lidcombe, halal hot dogs, Mohammed the magpie….and the full time hooter replaced by cop sirens attending another drive by.......but its still a wonderful ground, could easily host an NRL trial game

Considering the weather a pretty good turn out, pity about the final score line but the wins by the Harold Matthews and SG Ball sides against the might of Tinklertown must have been very impressive performances.

Front rower for the Magpies Ball team, a real goer imo…stood out last week the little I saw of the game.
Double hit ups in the one set coming out of our own area....involved in stinks...likes to tackle...knows how to make the coaches notice him.
