I agree with this. Rankin has his moments, there were some games last year where he was diabolical but others where he was very dependable and made good metres in attack. I didn't mind the short stints at 9 because he was quite sharp around the middle of the field, but I'd take Frozone on the wing ahead of him.

Luke Covell used to be pretty good, he just couldn't get very high off the ground.
Pat Richards might have been the best all-round, even in his later years? Fitzhenry did alright too.

They gave him a chance at start of this year and he blew a couple of games for us.
