I think JR will be great this season and a major player for the push for a finals berth ..he is a great back up ***and will remain fresh and injury free due to no reserve grade***. I do not have a problem with him seeing out his contract .

I fail to see how no reggies can determine a players health & fitness

Why can't he retire like inglis did
We all know Reynolds has had injuries and couldn't get on the field
Inglis is going to start playing again
Then we can re employ him next year to be one of our trainers and motivational speakers
If it's good enough for south's it's good enough for us
Or is it

You know got Matulino medically retired right?

Yep
And it was legitimate

I’d like to know on what grounds you think we could get grub medically retired seeing as how he played the first two rounds and has been training during the mini pre season

Just make up a BS excuse to get around it like Souths did with Burgess. A "mystery infection" like Sammy supposedly had. Too easy.

lol how about 'for his mental health wellbeing' - good luck NRL disproving that one or saying it doesn't qualify. So you don't think mental health is a legitimate issue we could say, lol.

All good Reynolds, stay if you want mate, help us smash up all that come up against us.

Look familiar
He played a total of 21 games in his last two seasons
JR played 12 in his last 2 seasons before this year

Last year greg inglis played 2 games before retirement
This year josh has played two games

Greg appears to have been on the training paddock of late
He is actually going to play league over seas

So you tell me why we can't medically retire Josh

I know I know
Because we are not south sydney and Josh is not Greg inglis

I know we have no chance
But that is the frustrating thing about the way the league was run with Todd at the top.

I hope we see a lot more consistent and fair approach to decisions like these

I hope we keep him. Good player and competitor. He is also versatile and usually an eighty minute player.

You're underestimating him. He's played at least 90-100 minutes for the Tigers.

Brandon Wakeham has reportedly signed a two year deal with bulldogs. I have a feeling the Reynolds thing was just bulldogs trying to pressure Wakeham into signing, id be very surprised if the Reynolds deal happened now.

Pay must think Lewis is trash if he's re-signed Wakeham and has Foran fit and still wants Reynolds..

Wasn't it supposed to be today...not much time to train with his new team..

Spot on assessment...We are stuck with JRey, Not even the Knights who needed a replacement hooker for Brailey were interested in him...No SL club wants him either..... :-(

I don’t blame them. We’ve shown how much of a risk signing him is. I’m happy he’s at the club he’s great to have around but he’s on crazy money. Could’ve gone towards a marquee signing for next year

I wonder if Cleary can take him over to Penrith? After all Cleary brought him over to Wests Tigers for $750,00 a year.

He may have a smarter CEO now.....

They're paying Snr and Jnr a million each per year, wouldn't be so sure.

Don't think it makes any difference. Most clubs have a young half signed up. Foran is a risk and having two young unproven halves is also a risk. Why not chuck one more risk in for good measure. Chances are if ever you having both Foran and Reynolds fit at the same time are slim.

Sorry I thought that was self explanatory!

We are due for some luck
I hope Josh kills it for us this year
It would be good if he can wear the 14 jersey all year
Come on as an impact player
Score a few and set up a few
Add a little niggle into the side

I don't know
But what ever it is it's good because I'm dreaming

It’s down to money and I don’t think it’s going to happen because all parties are not willing to budge on current numbers.
